No, it’s not about facts any more, but that’s not a call to drop the facts! Things come in waves. But there is no analogy these days to pre-NAZI days. Sorry. It’s more decadent than that, not desperate. It’s sometimes just like sports on TV. A culture war, just for the hell of it. A spectator sport. Blah.
Agreed for society, but this “spectator sport” becomes much more than that when expensive, regressive policy decisions follow.
The pre-NAZI days included gun confiscation and hyper-inflation. We are not far from either at the moment. At least from the attempt, that is. Apparently most gun owners in New York and Connecticut are not submitting to unconstitutional registration laws, a bad sign for Democrats. We have the immorality and corruption parts of the Weimar Republic down pat, especially as regards to government and big business. There is no scientific left in climate science, anymore. It’s all about wealth transfers from the poor and middle class to the Democrat “Elite.” Scumbags.
With people dying in the UK from ‘Fuel Poverty’ it isn’t a spectator sport. With food riots in 60 countries in part because of biofuel it isn’t a spectator sport. It is deadly serious and people are dying because of it. And the rest of us are being raped of our wealth.
