Anti-Gun Crusade Continues by Executive Order: Feinstein Asks Obama to Ban Imports of Semi-Automatic Firearms
When California Senator Dianne Feinstein’s anti-gun legislation went down in flames last year, those working in the firearms industry knew she’d eventually be back with another proposal cracking down on semi-automatic rifles, or what she calls “assault weapons.” Feinstein is calling on fellow Senators to sign a letter to President Obama asking him to issue an executive order banning the import of “assault or military weapons” and firearms not “generally recognized as particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.”
Ukrainians have been gunned down by their own government, so Feinstein uses it as an opportunity to try to disarm American citizens.

They are frantic to get their anti-gun laws passed before they get ousted.
However I think a lot of the rank and file Democrats may not want to go along at this time if their seats are up for grabs. Obummercare has turned into a major albatross around their necks and with the UKraine just taken by Russia and the Chinese saber rattling in the South China Sea, this is not the time to disarm your home grown militia.
Unfortunately the average Democrat voter is so concerned about lofty ideals like ‘Social Justice’ and ‘Interdependence’ and Global Governance that they can not see that China and Russia ARE NOT INTERESTED!
There isn’t a chance in hell that western state Democrat senators will win election (except Feinstein) if they vote to take away people’s guns.
Keep focussed. An armed citizenry is not needed to defend against foreign powers, but against domestic oppression.
With most Voters losing trust in the US government even the Libs are not going to want to give up guns. Liberals With Guns

I do not see the democrats who won their seats by the skin of their teeth wanting to get into the Gun – Anti-Gun fight. What I do see is a bunch of posturing by Feinstein to keep her reputation among the far-far left of CA.
A bit of good news:
I think the Sheeple are finally waking up and smelling the stench emanating from D.C. Now if the blasted old guard Repubs could get their act together, drop abortion, drop religion and focus on the economy and what they are going to do about it, they might actually get some of the independents like me to vote for them.
If anyone exemplifies the word “Bossy”….even bossing her fellow Democrats….
I wonder if the manufacturers of these ‘foreign’ or ‘imported’ firearms will consider licensing of their technology for production within the United States by existing firearm companies.
That would render the import ban impotent. LOL
The problem is the USA has closed up most of her Steel and Brass foundries (EPA strikes again.)
My favorite fabricator got forced to shut down because of the EPA.
I guess the Mexican cartels will soon be smuggling steel, brass, and lead. Pathetic.
They’re on a long term plan. First, shut off imports which also include much less expensive versions of even the same models. Then control the domestic manufacturers. You can’t send the government agencies to audit and intimidate a foreign manufacturer or the owners but you sure can do that here. So all of a sudden, the companies decide over time to get on board with discontinuing models or microprinting, or whatever the powers that be decide to impose over time.
Like the voluntary assisting the healthcare companies are doing with promoting Obamcare. And the voluntary statements the bank CEOs made that not raising the debt limit would hurt the economy. And the drugstores voluntarily opting to stop selling cigarettes. All of that of course after meetings where regulators/politicians expressed their desires.
It is third world type stuff. Most of the stuff that happens isn’t overt threats, but just slow steady pressure. Delays in getting permits and things. Constant regulatory intrusion while your competitors get no scrutiny, etc.
The IRS stuff is a clear example of this. Just give no approval or denial to political opponents. When caught, do absolutely nothing to fix it, and claim it is not even a real issue. Continue doing so until those people just give up and go back to their normal lives, trying to take care of their families.
I wouldn’t be so sure about what the rank and file Dems will do. Virginia voted in a Governor who took megabucks in campaign cash from Bloomberg. He is bought and paid for. They voted for him.
In the UK we can only dream of a second ammendment. Here we have been under the jackboot of the banksters for so many generation we think capitalism is a bad idea. There is zero tolerance of any kind towards weaponry. The simple act of picking up a gun left lying on the street and taking it to the police station to prevent children from playing with it can land you in jail. The other day a couple of kids were suspended simply for bringing petrol bombs into school to play with! When I was a lad playing with explosives was seen as a natural part of growing up. They have even banned the stink bombs we used to place under the teachers’ chairs!
Feinstein is a Bolshevik suffering from anti-gun hysteria but I don’t see the Ukraine connection.
