The global temperature anomaly of ~0.2C is about the same as it was 30 years ago, before the eruption of El Chichon cooled temperatures 0.5C.
Another way of saying this politely, is that global warming is almost complete BS, and the people behind it are crooks.
Are these the actual temps or the “massaged” temps?
Satellite data which NOAA/NASA have a harder time tampering with.

IMHO Stalin dominated negotiations to form the UN on 24 Oct 1945 because USSR forces had captured Japan’s atom bomb facility at Konan, Korea on 12 Aug 1945 – soon after their first test explosion as WWII was drawing to an end.
Frightened world leaders agreed to take totalitarian control of society to avoid nuclear annihilation.
After the war research grants were given to scientists to hide the source of energy in cores of heavy atoms and stars that might fulfill concerns expressed in the last paragraph of Aston’s 1922 Nobel lecture:

BTW Steve I have been meaning to calculate temps taking out volcanoes but have not had the time. If you took them out and replaced temps with the average temps would love to see what the trend is. Would show less warming and greater natural variability.

As you have previously posted Steve ‘global temps’ (climate is peculiar and local see thermodynamics) have declined since 1880.

The really interesting thing is that despite all the CO2 and a series of strong solar cycles, the period from 1977-2007 has a lesser warming slope than 1915-1945.
