Come to think of it, I do remember frolicking among the ice chunks during July 4th celebrations at South Haven in the early 2000s! Whatever will they do now. No ice in July. Oh, the humanity!

No signs of Mann-made warming here either, it must be in the ocea……hahahahahah!
Sorry I just can not bring myself to write such a notion, it’s too far fetched – even for me!

  5. Morgan says:

Ice in Lake Huron is caused by stratification. Global warming causes warm ice to sink to the bottom and hide because warm ice has a lower albedo than cold ice.

  6. Brian D says:

Found these ice charts from NOAA archive. 1979 and 1996 are the closest. Superior could very well have significant ice well into May. 1979 did.

Lake Michigan has thawed enough to dump huge quantities of snow in Indiana the U.P. and Ohio. It’s going to be hammer time when the vortex returns next week..

Snow White, the AGW Ice Queen, has assured me that the excess 135,000 km^2 of ice on the Great Lakes does not matter because….

It rained and flooded in the southern UK in February!

    So there!! DENIERS!!

She missed all the other areas like the Alpacas dying in Peru and China getting Hammered not to mention you could cross country ski from Tokyo Japan to Iran.

The heaviest snowfall -27 cm (10.6 inches) in decades fell on Tokyo and a few days later in Iran they had 2 meters of snow on Feb 14 – The heaviest snowfall in five decades.

    • Snow White says:

Where exactly did I assure you of that?

This will have an impact on summer temps this year.

  12. Jimmy Haigh says:

Alarmists predict ice-free Great Lakes this summer.

    • Gail Combs says:

And if those lakes are not ice free this summer we are in a world of hurt.

I can remember snow in June in Maine in the 1960s.
