Green Energy Is Blossoming In Europe

Nature takes back!
It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature. How old are you? If you’re under 35 or so, it probably makes no sense. This link will help.

Well, I thought I linked it so the proper commercial would start, but it’s the second commercial I was trying to post.
They need LAMBS.
Lambs are an absolute necessity for any solar farm. The do not jump on anything available like a goat kid will (and does) and best yet they grow lambswool a great solar panel cleaner.
Just catch the lamb by all four legs, invert and wipe the solar panel. The lanolin even works to prevent ACID RAIN from harming the panel.
If you think I am kidding (my does are the ones who kid) Solar Panels Kept Efficient by Sheep!
Well, that’s nice. It remains, however, that solar and wind energy pales in comparison to that produced by fossil fuels, natural gas and nuclear. In other words, we’re being fleeced.
Just wait until the Ivy takes hold,
I hope you didn’t intend to say, ” until Ivan takes hold.”
Looks to be a government maintained as the easy to reach areas are neatly mowed, while the area that matters is overgrown. I’d bet some bureaucrat wrote the requirements for the job such that the employees are completely fulfilling the description of their job.
No part of this Sun farm is well maintained. The part that has been recently mowed was as high as that growing up between the solar panels. Look at the ground and see how dead the grass is. This is proof that there is zip, nada, work on going there and likely ever less electric generation.
The mulching mower can only get up and down between the panels and it is not green to use nasty spray under the panels.. Oh how much carbon is used to stop the weeds?? The net balance just took another hit! More good food growing land wasted!
Liberals don’t like coal, oil, nuclear, and apparently, they don’t like Roundup® either.
You’re right Steve. That’s why the Germans are going back to coal power and chunking their nuclear generating plants.
Roundup® is Eeeeeeeeeeeeeevil Incarnate®, since it is a product of that most Eeeeeeeeeeeevil of Eeeeeeeeeeevil Kapitalist Korporations, the one and only Monsanto.
These days, since the patent has run out on glyphosate (the active ingredient in Roundup®) , there are many companies that manufacture it, so the price has come way down and it’s available in just about any strength one would wish to purchase it in. That being said, glyphosate is only a post-emergent herbicide and has no residual activity to prevent regrowth of weeds from seed. (It readily adsorbs to organics and soil particles, thus taking it out of availability for plant uptake.) If they really wanted to control the weeds, they’d use something like Arsenal® or Plateau®. (If they really wanted some serious, long-term control, they’d use Sahara®, like many utility companies use around their substations here in the U.S.) But, since these
solar farmsfairy magic fields are solely there to enrich the 1% Greentards, nothing will be done to maintain them properly, once the initial slush funds are exhausted.Turn them into tanning salons and Obongo can tax them into bankruptcy even quicker.
Gotta love that Trademark,”Sahara®” – They mean business when it comes to weeds. The next version could be named “Scortched Earth®”
The irony is that solar panels are everywhere around us.
They are called ‘leaves’.
Spray some Permazole SDA if you want to scorch the earth!
Clearly the construction of these subsidy farms were not intended to actually produce any energy, otherwise the owners would have tended them to make as much money as possible.
No, the money was made when they erected the solar panels, from government subsidy, then Bye-Bye sucker.
Nice, but 5 yrs old.
What a project!
Solar and cabon capture and storage in one.
🙂
What’s to criticize? The owners are just being astute businessmen and maximizing their profits.
Obviously these solar panels don’t produce enough electricity to pay for their own maintenance. When the government (sucker) payments for installation are spend they are just another acre of trash, a blight on the landscape, a poor place for plants to use up CO2. Liberals haven’t got enough brain power to survive without help.
