Thomas Karl was, I believe, the first to homogenize the U.S. Temperature record. I never saw where it passed peer review, but has became religious doctrine. I wonder what made him change his thinking?
Threats of “Scientific Cleansing” probably snapped ol’ Tom right into shape. It is politically useless to say “on average, nothing happens”. It’s true, but useless.
