New England Having Their Coldest March On Record

25 miles NE of Boston.
You’re damn right!
Sorry NW of Boston. I think the 25 miles NE of Boston is wishful thinking for me.
In New England, the coldest march on record was the winter of 1775 when Henry Knox marched those cannons from Fort Ticonderoga to Boston in summer clothes.
I seem to remember that as the cannon were being sled across the Hudson, the ice broke and a cannon fell into the river. Must have been some of that “rotten ice.”
You can’t get from Ticonderoga to Boston by going over the Hudson. Lake Champlain is already east of the Hudson.
It got over 40° up here in New Hampshire a couple of days ago, & I was forced to wear a fur bikini & drink gin&tonics to keep from melting in the heat.
YOU STOLE MY WARM WEATHER! Give it BACK!!!
It is currently 21 °F (at the airport) in mid North Carolina at 8:00 AM.
Oh, you must have taken it back without asking. >:(
I wouldn’t give you shit if yours was not singularly the most important blog in the world. Second to it might be some biology outfit talking about the upcoming antibiotic resistance plagues that Global Warming stole funding from. I don’t ever ask you to change, just to be more aware, and thus become a bit more usefully sociopathic rather than tribal and partisan, seeking grandiose vanquishment of a mirror image stereotyped evil enemy.
Jesus Fucking Gleeming Blue Sky Curry just skewered Mike Mann’s testy lack of testosterone by truly and in clear voice laying down the law of the land: free speech is a noble ideal worth fighting for.
But every morning, Iron Man?! No, that will never do. Then progressives win, and you (and me, and us) are successfully marginalized.
You are important. Control your brand, asshole. Are you a hippie, or are you a discerner of Wisdom?
You are coming off as a dishelved hippie.
Free speech, Mann.
Whatever shit sticks, oh that smells well!

Over 300,000 different people have visited this blog this month, an average of 2.5 times each. They can take from it what they want, and leave behind what they don’t like.
But I am not going to censor ideas in the comment section, unless they are violent or hateful. Most progress is made by people whom other people think are crazy.
SC24 is now on track to be a lower cycle than SC5.
Layman’s Sunspot Count critic Leif Svalgaard continues to compare SC24 with SC14, but so far SC24 is not looking anything like SC14. The extreme peaks and troughs are NOT occurring as he prescribes which is especially clear when comparing SC24 with the counting methods of earlier periods…Svalgaard uses the unscientific method of smoothing to compare cycles which hides the important detail. The LSC removes the post 1945 22% Waldmeier factor that Svalgaard accepts and also adjusts for the increased speck ratio we experience during grand minimum type cycles. This increased speck ratio also gives us the flawed Livingston and Penn results as they measure every small spot.

No early cherry blossoms this year for alarmist to rave about.
Can you hear those syncopated clicking and thumping noises, like Alex Van Halen’s drum-solo intro to “Hot for Teacher”? That’s my teeth chattering and my knees knocking.
UK Supermarket chains announce that Global Warming is real because –
“Earlier this month, supermarkets Waitrose and Tesco both announced that English strawberries were ripening early and hitting the shelves a week earlier than last year.”

Meanwhile the Washington cherry blossoms are very late because of the cold weather caused by Global Warming. Insanity is contagious in the Alarmist world.
There is no way that New England is cold. Alarmists say the world is burning up!!? http://www.nation.com.pk/international/28-Mar-2014/climate-change-while-we-fiddle-the-world-burns-and-floods-and-parches
Get your swimmers on and get outside and enjoy the hot climate in Boston.
YUCK! They dumped raw sewage in the harbor!
(I moved to the Boston area in 1979 and left in 1994.)
I didn’t want to go there, but couldn’t resist.
Bondi beach is the most famous beach in Australia. Before the sewerage outlet was moved offshore, swimming was an adventure.

More Alarmist insanity. I will not read or repost anymore of their crap because my brain cells scream in pain whenever I read this twisted logic.

Maple sap has never run this late before. Almost April and not a drop. I’ve got the buckets hanging but they are as dry as a bone.
Expect some tomorrow though.
We had some nice sapsicles this past week, as the sap from a broken branch on a maple tree dripped out and froze.
& on the antepenultimate day of March, the high is going to end up right at 46° (average high for March should be around 45°). It feels like Summer! I was out cycling in shirtsleeves, & it was just perfect.
