World Turns Upside Down – Guardian Shows Signs Of Brain Activity

We need more scientific mavericks

“Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts,” said Richard Feynman in the 1960s.

The 500 major discoveries, almost all initiated before about 1970, challenged mainstream science and would probably be vetoed today.

Agencies claiming to support blue-skies research use peer review, of course, discouraging open-ended inquiries and serious challenges to prevailing orthodoxies. Mavericks once played an essential role in research.

    Sorry Steve it’s not brain activity it was Brian’s activity, Brian’s the student intern on minimum wage. He wrote drafted in when the canteen ran out of Vanilla Latte Lite and the lack of refreshment meant that it was not subjex to ther usaul riogrous editing.
    He will not be called in again.

    This is only true for areas of inquiry that are NOT climate science, which is Holy and Sacred.

    I’d like to see them talking about mavericks and climate science in the same paragraph before I’d agree that there’s any brain activity.
