  1. R. Shearer says:

    Help, I’m melting.

  2. Andy DC says:

BOOO!! So scary! Where is my mommy!

  3. Morgan says:

When I was in college I gave money to the WWF because of the picture of the bear. I want it back.

The people who invented global warming were not scientists, they were environmentally retarded political activists looking for donations.? With a bear.

  4. KevinK says:

I gave to WWF for many years as well. Did our Honeymoon to the Galapagos on a WWF sponsored trip. WAS a good organization, but then went “WARM”. I don’t support them, anymore. Last time they called “begging” I told them exactly why I would not support the “cause”.

Funny thing, they have not called in a while, think I should give them a ring ?

    Cheers, Kevin

  5. Pathway says:

WWF is worth one billion dollars, which goes to their executives, lawyers and to advertising to raise more money. They should be investigated by the IR-SS.

  6. Lance says:

silly me for buying a house in Phoenix…when I could stay in Canada and go swimming all winter long….

  7. Dave N says:

“Anyone who still thinks of global warming as an unproven problem..” here’s some stuff that hasn’t even happened yet, and so is unproven.

“If there is a single sobering fact here, it is this:”.. that we’re not actually presenting any facts, just predictions.

There’s no pause in global morons.. they continue unabated.

  8. A.D. Everard says:

Evaporated! What the…? I gave a like to this because it made me laugh out loud. And they wonder why people have stopped taking them seriously.

I want my money back, too. I’ve also stopped buying ANYTHING endorsed by these organizations. We actually search the packaging before we choose. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

    • Gail Combs says:

Yes but it is tough if you try to buy Made in America AND not endorsing Green Slime.

      • A.D. Everard says:

I know what you mean, it’s pretty well everywhere in Australia, too. I don’t know if companies are now offering more choices or if I’m just noticing the few that don’t sponsor Green Slime (I like that expression!) – I hope the former. It feels like a very subtle, as yet, move away, but it could just as easily be wishful thinking.

I know it’s advertising and they’ll take the money every time, but I keep thinking that companies and businesses can’t be happy with Green Slime, either. When customer revulsion impacts sales, or when anything Green is seen as so vile that anyone endorsing it will feel as though they are prostituted themselves – whichever comes first – the stampede away will begin.

For now, I’m daydreaming and I know it, but at some point, Green Slime endorsement will become unpopular. It may well be years down the track and fade out, or it may stop suddenly. Maybe it will come about simply because Green Slime organizations will stop spending on advertising and save all their money for lawyers.

It might even be that the money tap turns off and funding stops. One day… one day…

  9. Jeff says:

These people obviously think that the scarier they make CO2 and global warming seem, the more likely people will just accept it and accept UN dominion over their lives. There is a reason this is all targeting the US. It’s all about the 2015 climate summit. They want the US to giveaway it’s sovereign rights to the UN to manage its “carbon production” and they want the US to pony up the vast majority of the $100 billion they plan to use to bribe poorer countries to accept lower emissions as well (as in no coal). Problem is the further they move away from scientific logic and more overt scaremongering they actually engage in, the LESS likely people are to support this. So, obviously, these people are only hurting their own cause.

  10. Andy Oz says:

RICHARD N. MOTT biography: joined Wallace Global Fund in late 2007, and serves as Senior Program Officer for Environment. Before coming to WGF, Mr. Mott was vice president for international policy at World Wildlife Fund in the United States, having served as treaties officer at WWF-International outside Geneva, Switzerland in 1990. Prior to his work at WWF, he directed the Atmospheric Pollution Program at the Environmental Law Institute in Washington, DC, and served as a judicial clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Richard appears to be a lawyer and activist.
Zero science which explains the PR announcement (2000) above.

  11. gator69 says:

Well if we didn’t have those outriggers Canada and Mexico, we would likely have flipped over by now.

  12. Psalmon says:

It’s interesting how humans are described almost like a pathogenic virus relative to wildlife and ecosystems. What do you do with dangerous viruses then?

    • Gail Combs says:

“It is a campaign not for abundance but for austerity. It is a campaign not for more freedom but for less. Strangest of all, it is a campaign not just against other people, but against ourselves.” -George Monbiot, UK Ecojournalist

“The planet is about to break out with fever.. and we [humans] are the disease. We should be at war with ourselves and our lifestyles.” -Thomas Lovejoy, Smithsonian Institution
“We’ve got to ride this global warming issue. Even if the theory of global warming is wrong, we will be doing the right thing in terms of economic and environmental policy.” – Timothy Wirth, President of the UN Foundation

“A massive campaign must be launched to de-develop the United States. De-development means bringing our economic system into line with the realities of ecology and the world resource situation.” – John Holdren (1973), Obama’s Science Czar and Paul Ehrlich, Professor of Population Studies

“Global Sustainability requires the deliberate quest of poverty, reduced resource consumption and set levels of mortality control.” – Professor Maurice King
      …………….
      The most telling comment:

“A total population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.” – Ted Turner, founder of CNN and major UN donor

That is just enough peasants to serve the elite without being so many they are uncontrollable.

  13. Brian H says:

Take consolation from this: “Fools and their money are soon parted.” Green is going broke.

    • Gail Combs says:

I sure hope so. But the Multi-billionaires behind it have certainly not gone broke:
International Monetary Fund World Economy Report Finance & Development, September 2012, Vol. 49, No. 3

In many countries the distribution of income has become more unequal, and the top earners’ share of income in particular has risen dramatically. In the United States the share of the top 1 percent has close to tripled over the past three decades, now accounting for about 20 percent of total U.S. income (Alvaredo and others, 2012).

SIGH, activistcash used to give the actual amounts donated to each organization by each foundation now they only list the foundations. For Greenpeace it is a LOOoooong list.

Old example: Organic Consumers Association got $57,176 between 2000 – 2005 from Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors
      http://activistcash.com/organization_overview.cfm/oid/20
(You can plug it into the Wayback Machine)

Organic Consumers Association is an astro-turf organization that swung the US public to supporting the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2009. The act has a one liner in it that hands control of US farming regulation to the World Trade Organization. (The act actually harms food safety. Last I looked the WTO/new HACCP Regs had doubled food borne illness in the USA)

At first I could not understand WHY Organic Consumers Assoc and Food and Water Watch were in favor of this bill that handed the international Ag Cartel control over US farmers. That is until I did some digging: Maude Barlow a “no dog in this fight” Canadian, who is a director of both. She has been handsomely rewarded for selling the US consumer out with an appointment as New Senior Advisor (on Water) to the UN president on October 21, 2008. Note on February 18, 2008 “Hillary Clinton highlights a series of food safety proposals she would pursue as president.”

The WTO and the Politics of GMO By F. William Engdahl, (author of ‘A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order’) goes into WHO actually controls the WTO Agreement on Agriculture. It is an organization called the IPC or the International Food and Agricultural Trade Policy Council or International Policy Council, for short.

That group is well worth looking at.
