    …apparently some members of the press went off script. [OOPS]

    CBS News Chief White House Correspondent Major Garrett and two unknown colleagues were caught on a hot mic having a revealing exchange related to the Ebola crisis.

    One reporter comments to Garrett that the “most interesting thing is the travel ban stuff,” referring to the government’s decision not to restrict travel to nations which pose an Ebola risk. He responds:

    Yeah, we’re screwed.

    His colleague then says that “If this D.C. test comes back positive I’ll be doing phoners all weekend.” Presumably she is referring to performing interviews via phone instead of in-person to avoid human contact and diminish the chance of contracting the disease…..

    A patient exhibiting Ebola-like symptoms is being treated at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., a hospital spokesperson confirmed Friday….Potential patients have been evaluated for the disease in several other U.S. hospitals including New York, California, Ohio, Hawaii, New Mexico and Florida – but all tested negative. A Utah hospital reported Friday that they were testing a possible case. The first case in the U.S. was diagnosed September 30 in a patient at a Texas hospital.

    They forgot the guy in MA and two Ebola patients in Nebraska.
    The Texas guy died Wednesday morning and the MA guy was re-admitted to the hospital.

    I hope he doesn’t ask them. You know what will happen. They will respond by loading up to the max.

    We’re accelerating toward WWIII and no massively expensive missile defense system can react fast enough to counter a submarine popping up firing nukes. That is the new arms race.

    And the rich dasterds profiting from it will…

      Heck they do not NEED a sub firing nukes. The USA has no idea of what has ‘walked’ across our wide open borders in the last 6 years but you can be sure a lot of stuff has walked across.

For example, the Wayuu Guajira people of Venezuela and Colombians– native Americans who live in the tropical forests – have provided numerous converts to Islam over the last decade and some of them are declared jihadis – warriors for Islam. Efforts to convert native peoples to Islam have been fostered by Iran with investments of money and other resources. Wayuu Guajira Indians are the largest indigenous group in Venezuela and Colombia (about 135,000 in Colombia and 170,000 in Venezuela). On October 23, 2006, the police in the Venezuelan capital found two explosive devices near the American Embassy….

      So the US government has been aware of declared jihadis in Latin America. More recently

      lthough U.S. officials cannot confirm reports of the arrest Jamel Nasr recently in Tijuana, they should acknowledge that the reports are consistent with increasing concern that Hezbollah is seeking an operational base in the Americas. Nasr was no ordinary tourist or would-be immigrant. He is a made member of the Lebanese-based terror group, Hezbollah.

      Mexican authorities have released few details about his arrest….
