When such ALARMIST statements are published in the mass media; the premise is in fact a two edge sword that cuts both ways. Taking a theory, an unproven hypothesis “on that scale”,, then advising:”loop-it is an existencial turning point in your life” – should carry a responsibility.

Publishing a wild assertion, dressed as scientific theory does cross an ethical threshold. If I worked for a Corporation & got this so wrong over & over; I would expect to be fired ! It’s as though Warmists are a protected species; untouchable & indemnified against responsibility.
The methane hydrates only exist because we live in an ice age. They are fossil fuels in the making. Eagerly awaiting the miracle when some might consider that the Carboniferous, when our fossil fuels were reputedly laid down, ended in…an ice age.
