I hope that we can stop history from repeating itself. Some 250 million people where killed by their own governments in the twentieth century alone and this madness is continuing. Thanks Steven and I always look forward to you posts.
It’s not about the guns, it’s about control. Tyranny abhors liberty.
But their socialized healthcare system was superior and gave people hope.

Liberty creates prosperity and hope for the majority. In 1900 we were the most prosperous middle class in the world and were the largest creditor nations in the world. Today we are the largest debtor nation in the world and approx. 100,000,000 people are living at or near the poverty line. The Federal Government has grown from a budget of 180 Billion in 1900 to to $314 billion in 1950 to $3.4 trillion today. The exponential growth in government is quickly decimating the majority.
It would appear the size and scope of government is in an inverse relationship with the economic health and prosperity of the majority. Of course Adam Smith, Thomas Paine, Jefferson and most of the rest of our founding fathers knew this 250 years ago. Hence why they tried to restrain the size and scope of government by protecting individual property rights.
It gave the system cannon fodder.
In Hitler Germany only Hitler was important.
Maybe but I’m sure the woman behind him feels very important. Feelings, Robert, feelings!
Disturbing stories making the rounds that millenials favor socialism … perhaps they might like the flavor of NATIONAL socialism of the kind promoted by that man with the peculiar mustache.
OMG! Is that Göring in a dress? How many of those ladies will receive eye and hair transplants through Hitler-care?
I define “good gun control” as a tight grouping on the target…
Practice, practice, practice….
Ask the American Indian how well gun control worked for them–selling guns to the Indians was both sinful and a crime!
While you’re at it, talk to African Americans and see if they remember that the Slave Patrols had guns, but not the escaping slaves. Or if they remember that the Klan had guns, but not the Black Americans. Or if they remember being rounded up and sold under the South’s peonage system. No guns also meant no protection of law–the courts didn’t allow gunless Negros any rights.
Gun control worked very well for Democrats and their political machine.
