Erasing The 100% Consensus

In the 1960’s and 1970’s there was a 100% consensus that the Earth was cooling

The National Academy of Sciences showed this in their 1975 report.

The New York Times began reporting on this in the early 1960’s.

SCIENTISTS AGREE WORLD IS COLDER

This doesn’t fit the current needs of NASA, so they simply altered the data to make the cooling disappear.

Over the last 15 years, NASA has doubled 1880-2000 warming, by replacing rural stations with UHI infected ones.

Global warming has very little to do with science, and very much to do with politics.

    NASA has been hijacked!!!

    • omanuel says:

NASA was hijacked from birth . . . to be part of the worldwide effort to save frightened world leaders from worldwide nuclear annihilation predicted in the last paragraph of Aston’s Nobel Lecture on 12 Dec 1922 . . . to hide from the public the source of energy that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 & 9 Aug 1945:

NAS (National Academy of Sciences) and AGU (American Geophysical Union) may have taken control of US policy on geo-engineering of planet Earth, in the manner President Eisenhower warned about in his farewell address to the nation in Jan 1961:

Responses to private messages to the Presidents of NAS and AGU and the editor of Nature will show if the ending to seventy years (1946-2016) of deception of the public will end peacefully or violently. BUT IT WILL END!

    • Steve Case says:

Eisenhower’s Farewell Address to the Nation January 17, 1961
The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Dr. Philip Canpbell, the editor of Nature sent a link so I could submit the paper to Nature for review and publication, “Solar energy,”

        http://crescopublications.org/pdf/ASSOA/ASSOA-2-005.pdf

I was not able to get the site to accept my submission, but willingness of the editor to consider the possibility that the Sun is the remnant of a supernova that made our elements and birthed the solar system 5 Ga ago . . . . is encouraging!

  3. Chris says:

There was not 100% consensus in the 1970s about global cooling, not even close. A study done in 2008 of papers published in the 1970s, showed that of those that took a position on global warming or cooling, 42 predicted warming, and 7 cooling: http://journals.ametsoc.org/doi/abs/10.1175/2008BAMS2370.1 And if you don’t believe that survey, watch Soylent Green. The main character, played by Charlton Heston, runs around constantly mopping himself due to the heat, and mentions “that dame global warming” to his sidekick, played by Edward G. Robinson.

Teacher: Who believes in The Easter Bunny?
Class: -two kids raise their hands.
Teacher: You two get these giant chocolate easter bunnies. 🙂
Teacher: Lets have another quiz…Who believes in The Easter Bunny?
Class: -100% consensus that The Easter Bunny is real.

    It really is that simple.

Why is someone still saying this in 2016:
“Over the last 15 years, NASA has doubled 1880-2000 warming, by replacing rural stations with UHI infected ones.”
when Berkeley’s Earth’s BEST research debunked such claims back in 2013?

“Time-series of the Earth’s average land temperature are estimated using the Berkeley Earth methodology applied to the full dataset and the rural subset; the difference of these is consistent with no urban heating effect over the period 1950 to 2010, with a slope of -0.10 ± 0.24/100yr (95% confidence).”

Real skeptics change their mind in response to evidence:
    http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/30/opinion/the-conversion-of-a-climate-change-skeptic.html?_r=0
Faux skeptics keep repeating the same talking points, no matter how many times those talking points are debunked.

    • gator69 says:

The opoposite of skeptical is you, gullible…

“Let me be clear. My own reading of the literature and study of paleoclimate suggests strongly that carbon dioxide from burning of fossil fuels will prove to be the greatest pollutant of human history. It is likely to have severe and detrimental effects on global climate.”
      -Richard Muller, 2008

Then od course there is this…

      JOURNAL OF GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH

      http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/2010JD015146/abstract

According to the best-sited stations, the diurnal temperature range in the lower 48 states has no century-scale trend.

The current rating of surface stations (82.5% surveyed) as of 07/30/2012

      CRN Rating:
      CRN1-2, 7.9%
      CRN3-5, 92.1%

1 Flat and horizontal ground surrounded by a clear surface with
      a slope below 1/3 (<19°). Grass/low vegetation ground cover
      3 degrees.

2 Same as Class 1 with the following differences. Surrounding
      Vegetation 5°.

3 (error 1°C) ? Same as Class 2, except no artificial heating
      sources within 10 meters.

      4 (error ?2°C) ? Artificial heating sources <10 meters

5 (error ?5°C) ? Temperature sensor located next to/above an

      Now you know the truth.
