The US experienced an incredible heatwave during this week in 1910. Temperatures of 70 degrees were recorded all the way up to Lake Superior, and Salem, Indiana reached 97 degrees.
NASA says that 1910 was right at the bottom of the coldest years ever.
I wish that history would repeat now. Going to be a decent day here central Indiana but by this time next week Ole Man Winter will have already set in again for a few days. My lilac bushes are starting to sprout leaves as are my willows. The rest of the trees have buds. I suspect the hard freezes coming are going to stunt them this year.

It looks like the models are backing off from the extremely cold solutions of last week. It will be below normal for a few days, but nothing record breaking or extraordinary.

If we had the same heat wave occurred in 2016, the alarmists would be howling at the moon with the usual words “unprecedented” and “hottest ever”. But since it happened back when the data was rigged to be much colder, it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Those cretins in 1910 reading the thermometers most certainly had to be wrong, because when leading climate scientists run their models backward to 1910, they show there was no way in hell it could have been that hot!
Your using one day to extrapolate temperature for a whole year? Proves absolutly nothing. Junk science not real science.
