On this date in 1895 and 1938, it was 85 degrees in Ohio. But that was before greenhouse gases overheated the climate.

Indeed. Forecast here for Friday night is an overnight low of 34F/1C. I am going to say that it will be below 32F/0C at my house. I’ll know more when I see what the dew points are tomorrow. Mind you that the average date for such is roughly a week later; though it has happened as early as October (middle of the month) or as late as December.
In the Grifftard’s Bizzaro world ice is melting at unprecedented rates at these temperatures and the oceans have become boiling acid. Griffy is one sick & confused puppy.
If I see yesterday’s election results I would say that millions have the same problem. Veterinarian is a job with future in the US.
I’ve noticed the large weather forecast web sites have pulled record high and record low temps and dates off of their monthly/calendar tabs. you can still find it on the daily, (although not the year)
now why would they do that?
The source of that cold air is going to make its presence known with a jump in the ice area on the Hudson Bay. The water temps are already lower than normal due to the late melt and moderate summer. With the cold winds blowing from the West across the bay, the ice edge along the coast should expand out quickly over the next four days or so.
The Great Lake temperatures are already lower than the last couple years, both surface and bulk temps. With this early cold air sucking the heat from the water, another cold icy winter is setting in. Looks like another year of extensive ice area on the Great Lakes is in the making.
With the major water heat sinks covered over, the forecasts will tend to predict a colder than normal winter and early spring temps for the region.
I wonder if the US Nava will make sure its ships are out in the Atlantic and not the lakes trapped like last winter….
No they are installing air conditioners for the much warmer future at least that’s what the models say.
Bbbbut that guy from the U of Manitoba 2 years ago said that Hudson Bay would be ice free in the WINTER.
That would be David Barber and he has an unprecedented record of wrong headed predictions and scare mongering but this was one of my favourite of his fusterclucks. Too much ice is of course “climate change” in the minds of the muddle headed. Extreme ice conditions is caused by GLOBULL warming in the Grifftard bizzaro world.
First phase of Arctic climate change study cancelled due to climate change
JUNE 12, 2017 —
The Science Team of the Canadian Research Icebreaker CCGS Amundsen has cancelled the first leg of the 2017 Expedition due to complications associated with the southward motion of hazardous Arctic sea ice, caused by climate change.
This regrettably postpones the much-anticipated Hudson Bay System Study (BaySys) involving 40 scientists from five universities across Canada. Timing was key for this $17 million, four-year, University of Manitoba-led project.
The need to deal with extreme ice conditions in the south meant the ship would arrive too late on site to meet research objectives.
For those in the Netherlands who missed this.

At least he tries to prevent the netherlands from committing economic harakiri because of the paris climate agreement because a bankrupt country would expose its people to any kind of wave with dramatic consequences.
Seems like the blue wave attacks republican states harder.
