Comparing DMI To NSIDC

A couple of our local conspiracy theorists believe DMI reports too much ice, and that is the reason the Arctic melting scam is collapsing.  So I did a comparison with NSIDC, and found out they are essentially identical.

NSIDC   DMI

NSIDC   DMI

Sorry to break it to them, but their scam is dead. The Arctic is not melting.

Does the top graph indicate that the extent of sea ice for 2015-2018 is less than the mean from 1981-2000?

  2. Shawn Ritenour says:

Sorry, I meant the third graph.

Tony- unfortunately your latest charts will only cause Griffy to screw his tinfoil hat on even tighter ;-)

Fortunately demand for tin foil hats is so high in the USA, I am able to source cheap imports of surplus stock

      • spike55 says:

        poor griffool…

Your grasp of economics is even less than your grasp of climate change.

Had to think on this one a moment, Spike. Then I smiled and was impressed that you picked up on that instantly from a throw away comment from a known troll.

          Supply and demand indeed …

      • Gator says:

Yes Ms Griff, the left has caused an explosion of demand for tin foil hats in the US. Fools like you buy TF hats to ward off CO2, and logic.

But why do you hate poor brown people Ms Griff?

I really thought even Griff and Sir would have been smart enough not to take the bait on your last post about Arctic ice. They weren’t. Hook, line, and sinker.

Summer before last we went out west for my sons wedding and stayed a few days at the Grand Tarhgee resort just over the pass from Jackson Hole. It was July and there was still plenty of snow/neve at the crest of the mountain and the snow capped peak of the Grand Teton was in the background. Since that visit I regularly receive emails for the resort. Here is the latest. https://mail.aol.com/webmail-std/en-us/suite

For your information, the link you gave resolves to an AOL login page. If you want to share contents of that email to you, then I suggest you use a different approach.

Thanks for your posts here. Best wishes.

Try comparing with this, to start with…

    • Gator says:

Why not compare the long term trend? Why not acknowledge that there is currently more ice in the Arctic than the average of the past 9000 years, and that nobody is dying as a result of this annoying average weather? Why do you hate poor brown people?

    • spike55 says:

      WOW,

there really is ONE HECK OF A LOT OF SEA ICE up there, isn’t there , griffool

FAR more than basically 95% of the last 10,000 years

(unless you are a climate change denier like griffool is. !)

  7. Johansen says:

Thank Gaia it’s coming down a little, anyway. That means we still have some time before plummeting into the next 100,000 year deep freeze

  8. spike55 says:

Are other people’s posts getting delayed before they appear ?

  9. CJ Bertran says:

What is going on in the Antarctic? You seem to never cover that…

  10. Erle S Bowman says:

The Aurora, Il Jan. 30 temp chart has the wrong information. You’re doing what the Climate Changers consistently do and it is not good. The max temp is 61 while the 5 point mean ave. MAX temp is closer to 38.
