After taking a long haul flight to the Maldives, tourists can switch off their lights for an hour in order to keep the Maldives from drowning last year.

    On “Madam Secretary” a couple weeks ago, the SOS had to negotiate a relocation of an entire island of people. The storm was caused by super heated waters in the Pacific as a result of climate change. We have to act now to prevent additional tragedies such as this one. I mean, I know its just a TV show, but it is based on reality, right? Just like Rachel Maddow’s show?

    I had everything turned on for Earth Hour. In Ontario it was a dud. I haven’t found one news outlet admitting how much power demand fell.
