As students protested CO2 today, I was out enjoying the miracles it makes possible.

    For this post and last: lovely pictures of the desert in bloom. I’ve never had the opportunity to see a desert in bloom so this is a nice way to vicariously experience it. Keep it up. I enjoy your pictures.

    It’s always amazing to me how orangey yellows make blues really intense.

    I sometimes throw some california poppies and calendula amongst chicory and borage, it makes the ordinary blues scream.

    It’s beautiful; but is it sustainable? According to this New York author, Phoenix is the worlds least sustainable city.

    And while we’re on the topic of sustainability, does anyone know the engineering units of sustainability? I mean there’s more or less of it. So what is it?

    And yes, sustainable or not, Arizona really is this beautiful.

    Wow! I was in Arizona Sept. 2015 and I did not see anything like this! Amazing! Yes, let’s get some more CO2!
