Today’s Arizona Climate Devastation

As students protested CO2 today, I was out enjoying the miracles it makes possible.

    For this post and last: lovely pictures of the desert in bloom. I’ve never had the opportunity to see a desert in bloom so this is a nice way to vicariously experience it. Keep it up. I enjoy your pictures.

    It’s always amazing to me how orangey yellows make blues really intense.

    I sometimes throw some california poppies and calendula amongst chicory and borage, it makes the ordinary blues scream.

    It’s beautiful; but is it sustainable? https://www.amazon.com/Bird-Fire-Lessons-Worlds-Sustainable/dp/0199828261 According to this New York author, Phoenix is the worlds least sustainable city.

    And while we’re on the topic of sustainability, does anyone know the engineering units of sustainability? I mean there’s more or less of it. So what is it?

    And yes, sustainable or not, Arizona really is this beautiful.
