Climate Barbie Horrified

I remember hearing some of this last year. It was horrifying then, it’s horrifying now, and it’ll be horrifying when it happens again — and it’ll happen again if we don’t take action now

It takes one hell of a storm to turn a peninsula into an island, but that’s just what happened in April 1858 when a powerful spring onslaught created the Eastern Gap. This portion of the Island had flooded before, but this time it stuck, and major ships were able to enter the harbour through this passage in a few months.

Someone came up with a great name for her based on her screaming rants in parliament…Old Yeller. Right now, the Conservatives are polling at 36%, Libs at 30%, NDP (socialists) at 16% and Greens at 10% with other parties getting the remainder. According to one poll tracker, it’s about a 37% chance the Conservatives will get a majority and another 33% chance they’ll form a minority government.

Can’t wait to see her lose her seat in the next election….just this morning while riding the train to work, the local Metro paper had “Climate Change is happening”…no sh*t, climate changes occur……over many years….the media is just as bad as politicians…

Turd-oh, wants to declare a “climate emergency”….i’m thinking “Liberal” emergency…

After the long cold winter they must cry louder than ever before.
((and it seems that droughts lost their status as favourite poster child of AGW as those bastards know very well that floods are more likely after winters with more snow))

…or could it be that the city of T. just has an undersized/ill maintained storm drain system?

Use Google Earth, or some such thing, and find this spot:

        43.670046, -79.358446

Just south of this point my map shows the Lower Don River Trail and the Don Valley Pkwy. The original valley at this point was about 700 yards wide. It is now channeled.
Now look to the north. Note the green web of water channels, tributaries of the Don River.
        What could go wrong?
