  1. Jonathan Ranes says:

It is a true wonder to live in these times where over half the population of the world is in the grips of an amazingly long lasting delusion. I pine for the days when people thought the bible was literal and went crazy on that. At least it had some soul and good parts.

This is the great fatal flaw of democracy and capitalism, the excess wealth causes hyper-growth of the ignorance gland swelling it full of self righteous puss.

    • Robertv says:

Democracy is mob rule and the mob wants free obama phones not good government.
And it’s not capitalism but central banking providing progressives with unlimited resources since 1913.

  2. Gator says:

Her extreme and unprecedented ignorance becomes abundantly clear when she makes such incredibly idiotic statements with a straight pale face. These massively misinformed lefties make Flat Earthers look like Rhodes Scholars, and we should all point and laugh hysterically at them until they slink away.

Mr. Heller: You are 100% correct that Liz Warren has no clue re: climate, there is no indication that she has even looked into the subject. Her big thing for years has been consumer protection. She has made that her life’s work, and we can see that she is much more dangerous on the subject that she has spent time learning. Let’s pause and give thanks that she is less dangerous on subjects about which she is clueless.

1)You get a super cold winter with megatons of snow that proves all AGW as BS.

2)As soon as it gets warm
missuse all the melting snow as prove for AGW.

Hang on, as a certified whiter than white woman who has no qualms about her possible blocking real native American women from high profile and high paying positions, I have one question for her: Where’s the beer Lizzie? She looked so real trying to open that beer she must know so much about the Earth’s climate.

Finally someone in my country did the same old newsletters research you’ve also been doing in that side of the pond. This hasn’t been picked up (article has almost a year). These almost seem a mirror of your posts, Tony.
This really cheered me up :)

  7. MGJ says:

Ah yes, just insert the words “moral responsibility” and no argument or evidence is needed.

Hey, you don’t want to be immoral or irresponsible, do you…?

  8. Colorado Wellington says:

Stephen Green posted on Instapundit an excerpt from a 2018 Investor’s Business Daily editorial*) on NOAA temperature data molestation with a comment:

“Government cooking the books like this would be a major scandal if we had a nonpartisan press.”

The post has already over 200 comments.

*) Reference and credit in the IBD editorial:

As Tony Heller at the Real Climate Science web site notes, “Pre-2000 temperatures are progressively cooled, and post-2000 temperatures are warmed. This year has been a particularly spectacular episode of data tampering by NOAA, as they introduce nearly 2.5 degrees of fake warming since 1895.”

  9. Biff C. says:

It looks like Elizabeth Warren cherry-picked Burlington Iowa because it doesn’t have a levee – in part, because local residents prefer the riverfront unspoiled by a dike – meaning that it floods pretty much every year and lends itself perfectly to a politician clamoring about global warming-caused flooding.

The city of more than 100,000 residents remains the largest Iowa community along the river without a protective barrier. Mayor Frank Klipsch says the high cost of construction, coupled with Davenport’s relationship with its 9-mile riverfront, motivates the city to maintain course with its current flood control plan.

“This system works very well,” he said at a news conference Wednesday. “… The city has been protected and, for the most part, continues to be protected.

“The city of Davenport isn’t underwater — it’s a portion of it — and that’s very important to us.”
