In 1988, the Guardian , UK Commonwealth and Canberra Times said we needed global communism to prevent 1-4 meters of sea level rise by the year 2030.  Because this is all about the best science by our top scientists.

  1. G W Smith says:

Even Marx described communism as “democratic.”

    • Robertv says:

The democratic party has been the enemy of US Constitution since day 1. The Founding Fathers did not create a democracy for a reason. They knew it would end in mob rule.

By giving their party the name ‘democratic’ they told exactly what their goal was. When they swear to uphold the constitution they lie.

  2. John F. Hultquist says:

Apparently Shridath Ramphal, now 91, is still alive.
I wonder if he still expects 1 to 4 m. of sea level rise by 2030?

I also suspect he didn’t make this stuff up. Someone else did from the over paid and bloated UN one-world-government group.

    They are evil.

  3. gregole says:

Stop sea level rise? Communists can’t even govern. Proven.

  4. Disillusioned says:

If only prehistoric man had known about this 20,000 to 8,000 years ago…

  5. Basil says:

Venezuela, Cuba, Yugoslavia (that was) All the Eastern European states that so loved communism that they could not wait for the destruction of what Churchil called “the Iron Curtain across Europe”.
See the people then – downtrodden, miserable, see the people now! Then ask them how wonderful communism was. They will tell you soon enough.

  6. Aussie says:

This is almost as ridiculous as the efforts to rely on windmills and solar panels to do the same.

The intermittent nature of these sources, beloved by the Left, means they cannot be used to power the grid themselves. In Germany and Australia we see sky high power prices and a correlation between power prices and the increase in renewable energy.

Claims about “cheap renewable power” take no account at all of the backup that must be provided by other sources.(usually fossil based).
