California is pushing for 100 Percent Renewable Energy by 2030, but maybe they should try for 100 Percent Reliable Energy by 2030 instead?

    • annieoakley says:

Colorado is pushing for zero emissions automobiles by 2030 or 2040. I heard it mentioned quietly on some radio station.

    • arn says:

Isn’t it strange that dumbmaster AOC comes around and says:”The world will end in 12 years”
and all of a sudden all around the western world states and countries try to go zero emission by 2030.
      Be it commifornia,portugal,netherlands.

One should expect that one says 2030,another 2037 and someone else 2033
as every region is different, has different capacities, has
different economic power to manage the replacement.

But somehow it all goes hand in hand with agenda 2030 in absolute synchronicity.

(and it seems that all of them ignore that we are decades, maybe centuries away from being able to replace conventionel energy production with renewables
and that in a thousand yeary we won’t be able to replace an energy system in 10 years that was built in 120 years.
+the costs to go renewable would skyrocket if all countries would try to go full renewable at the same time
as certain needed ressources would be instantly depleted and become superexpensive
+ the few competent people that can do this job would ask for far more money than they can now.

This is just deliberate destruction of energy supply to cause a catastrophy and the state of emergency will then be used to destroy any remaining democratic rights.

    Another example of selective censorship…
Founded by the late Robert Parry, Consortium News releases excellent documented articles from Kiriakou, McGovern and others on the fake Russiagate for instance. However, when it comes to climate, all reasoning seems to be leaving the building and they recycle any piece of green agitprop as if it were gospel. Here, posted from the Conversation is this ridiculous trifle
But what is disturbing for a media that claims being above the MSM is that out of 35 comments authorized only ONE is mildly critical of Ste Greta, and poorly written to boot.
If what happened to a friend of mine, Consortium News must in fact be censoring many critical yet respectful comments about Thunberg: Here is what she tried to have posted there un-successfully:
“Detractors have dismissed Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg – a Nobel Prize nominee –…”
This argument of authority undermines the rest. As if Thunberg’s meteoric rise could have happened without the very support of the establishment she chastises, but who ultimately lent her a multi-million dollar sail racer for PR in NYC while the crew flew back…
Yesterday, a CBC run an opinion piece entitled “In defence of climate change hypocrisy” in which denouncing the extensive use of petroleum products by these very activists is assimilated to “shutting down the debate”, a debate that is of course rigged from the start. The scholastic piece is opening the way to legitimize any otherwise unacceptable behaviour (hypocrisy, conflict of interest -the author interviews his own pal at Mount Royal University- and soon why not, crime) as acceptable as long as it fits the agenda.
Marooned on the Pacific coast after Chile’s renounced organizing the next 20,000 + delegate COP, all this noise and justification of the unjustifiable is only a ploy to save their PR asset and provide a semantic shield to Thunberg’s upcoming… flying a good ol’ jet airplane on time for her apparition at the Spain COP.”

Looks to me as if they do not like when Thunberg’s potential next moves are figured out… Of course, they are all skirting the big elephant in the room, that Thunberg is a product of the 0.1% establishment and serves their agenda.
