New Video : The Canberra Times Vs. Reality
This entry was posted in Uncategorized. Bookmark the permalink.
The Canberra Times is generally known as the CanT.
Circulation is tiny. The publisher almost certainly only keeps it going because of all the public servants and government departments who buy it. Rather like Bezos’s WaPo the CanT knows that influence is useful to have.
Destroying climate lies one video at a time. Simple, clear, concise. Another belter.
Another CC destroyer. Keep up the great work Tony. Sharing.
For your records Tony, you can count the bricks down from a window in the stone work down to the High Water Tide Stain.
Well done
I would just wish we put up export royalties and burnt a lot more coal at home. I don’t like the idea of so much of our coal going to foreigners. We need one more generation of high-tech hight temperature coal burning stations before we go nuclear. Also there is a lot of fissionable material in coal. I think we should run a weak dollar policy and trade surpluses while most of our coal for home use. Putting up royalties, at least for exports, tends to crowd out banker overhead.
We used to call it the Canberra Crimes when I lived there 40+ years ago. Seems nothing has changed.
Ciao
John
Hi Tony, can you do some research on the warmth in the late 18th century where temperatures were in some long term records higher as in the midth 20th century and as high as in the early 1990s.
F.e. the oldest weather station in the mountains, Hohen-Peißenberg (Germany):

From the photos of Bondi Beach, it looks as though the sea level has gone down similarly to David of Aussie’s photos of Fort Denizon!
Don’t get too carried away. Impossible to know at what tide pix were made. Could be comparing low to high.
Please find any stable long term tide gauge that shows acceleration in sea level rise and let us know about it.
Could be but High Tide stain marks are forever. QED
