LONDON (Reuters) – Global warming will leave the Arctic Ocean ice-free during the summer within 20 years, raising sea levels and harming wildlife such as seals and polar bears, a leading British polar scientist said on Thursday. Show your children/grandchildren this simple experiment. Put a couple of ice cubes in a glass of water. Mark the water level on the side of the glass. Come back when the ice has melted. The water level will not have changed. So, if all the floating ice in the Arctic and Antarctic melts, sea levels will not rise.
