No Correlation

NOAA (accidentally) confirms there is no correlation between atmospheric CO2, temperature and sea level.

“The amount of CO2 in the atmosphere today is comparable to around 4.3 million years ago, when sea level was about 75 ft higher than today, the average temp was 7 degrees F higher than in pre-industrial times, & large forests occupied areas of the Arctic that are now tundra.”

Similar conditions occurred 6,000 years ago, when atmospheric CO2 levels were below 300PPM.

According to NOAA, sea level is rising at less than 2mm/year. It will require more than 12,000 years to raise sea level by 75 feet.

“absolute global sea level rise is believed to be 1.7-1.8 millimeters/year.”

NOAA has been forecasting an acceleration in the rate of sea level rise for a long time, but it isn’t happening.

This tweet would have even been funnier if they’d added the glacial/Interglacial graph to the timeline, to show us that even a picture perfect control knob co2 concentration of > 350 ppm ain’t do crap to keep a constant climate,
and that co2 is, in social media speak, just a lousy follower (of temperature) and not the almighty influencer it is said to be.

Funny note – the beginning of mankind is supposed to have started around that time when earth was 7 degrees warmer and co2 levels as high as they are today.
It is save to assume that we haven’t devolved that much since then and became more vulnerable to higher temperatures.

It is interesting that there are so many claims that floating sea ice, when it melts, raises the oceans. Back in Grade 3 didn’t they perform an observation experiment with a glass of water and a floating ice cube?

An ice-free Arctic Ocean doesn’t mean ice-free land.

I was surprised to see the term “neo-glaciation” in the article. Exactly. That is why we are worried far more about cooling than warming. We want to eat.

There is no more hands on, objective, empirical teaching in schools anymore. Instead of seeing if a melting ice cube raises the water level, kids are being taught that gender is fluid and white persons are all racist, etc.

The lunatics are controlling the asylum.

I think that compulsive COVID vaccines have caused many on the left to have blood clots on their brains. There is a good chance that if we wait long enough, many will curl up and stare into space and never rise again.

    • It’s news to me to learn that they have brains to have blood clots in. Why think, or study when social acceptance by fellow idiots only requires you to parrot dogma. Part 1 thermodynamics in any engineering course will quickly show what rubbish the AGW myth is.
