let’s go back on memory lane…. the ’60s the 70s… that’s when the next ice age was what we needed to worry about. my parents second car, which I was able to drive in high school… in the mid 1970s…was a 1964 Dodge Dart. it was cool… bucket seats push button transmission, slant 6 motor that didn’t go bad until you hit almost 85,000 miles lol. some of the cooler kids than me had challengers and chargers. Dodge was cool back then. a car wash was 50 cents. a gallon of gas was 40 cents. an average size nice house was 35k.. you could probably buy a professional basketball team for $4 million in the early seventies. now they’re 4 billion dollars. wth. now u know why Glen Taylor didn’t want to go through the agreed transaction for Rodriguez and company to buy the wolves…. cuz during the transition period the wolves doubled in value. . crazy stuff. but when you only have about 30 NBA teams and about 50 billionaires that want to own them…. it’s called supply and demand. :-). that said, go Timberwolves in Wednesday nights matchup! its do or die for the wolves. if the wolves lose it’s because of some Canadian guy named SGA…. he is an incredible athlete. a black guy that speaks/sounds like James Bond… you got to love it! (sounds like Bond because he was raised in Canada, not the Chicago ghetto).. go wolves!!!
What about Car & Driver telling us for years that electric is the future?
I’ll renew my subscription when they drop all the electric crap.
‘Lackluster demand from traditional muscle car buyers who still prefer the visceral experience of a combustion engine.’
C&D has the exact same problem. They aren’t writing to their base anymore.
To hot car owners of turbo flat 6s, supercharged V8s, and killer V12s: “Rev it up, let’s hear what ya got!”
To EV super coupe owners: “Rev it up, let’s h…. oh, …never mind …”
