    $4.00 a US Gallon? Try $3.30 a litre here in Aussie for Diesel. One US gallon = 3.78 litre. US$1 = AUS$1.45

    • Bob G says:

in other words the Australian dollar is the equivalent of 70 cents u.s. I have a cousin who lives there and he likes to brag about making $10,000 a month. take a third of that off the dollar exchange. take another third of that off of taxes on an average income. then pay $8 a gallon for gasoline and $8 a gallon for milk, six bucks for a dozen eggs, three and a half dollars for a loaf of bread and see what you have left. no thanks.

  2. Bob G says:

I’m also curious where the $4 a gallon gas price came from. in Minnesota we’re looking at about three bucks a gallon. that’s way below the Biden high. fyi, I need to get some gasoline for my snowblower as snow is forecast in Southern Minnesota for the next 3 days. oh nevermind that’s just weather. climate change tells us it’s going to be 80. off subject but did you hear a man of Somalian heritage was just convicted and sentenced in the 250 million food fraud scandal in Minnesota? sentence to one year. which means he’ll be out by July 4th. what a country. and Tina Peters got nine years?

    • arn says:

The Gallon price definitely does not come from California.
      There’s 6 dollars/gallon – a hockeystick Mann&Hanson combined can’t lift.

  3. conrad ziefle says:

Maybe the graph should go back further into the past. The it might be called the field hockey basket.

  4. Bob G says:

they just don’t give up. the poor poor polar bears are having a tough time even though there population has tripled since we quit hunting them. https://www.earth.com/news/polar-bears-are-struggling-scientists-hope-to-prevent-extinction-with-genetic-management/

  5. Interesting how a 30% increase may be made to look like a 400% increase by the expedient of cutting the bottom off the plot.

  6. Peter Carroll says:

The bottom graph is Michael Mann’s “hooey schtick”.

    • Mann’s hokey stick will take its place next to Piltdown Man and canals on Mars in the annals of scientific hoaxes. Tell the establishment what it wants to believe, then fabricate the evidence, and wealth and honours will come your way.

      • arn says:

Actually Piltdown Mann dug those Mars Canals using only a Hockeystick .(it originally started as small project in the Darwin crater searching for the missing link)

A photo of Pilty during one of his rare breaks( 5 o clock tea), falsely titled ‘Bigfoot on Mars’ can be easily found on the webs.

    • Actually I was referring to the upper graph of fuel prices. If you want to show they are stable, you include the origin in the plot. If you want to show a masive change choose scales which encompass the change so that it fills the graph. It’s what Darell Huff calls the ‘gee whizz’ graph, so beloved of propagandists.

      • Bob G says:

Good point Gordon. Colorado University releases its tropical storm – hurricane forecast for 2026. slightly below average storm activity. no doubt Michael Mann will come out with his forecast and he’ll be calling for a record High hurricane season. lol. seems to me predicting storm activity is not a science and belongs somewhere between Vudu and tarot card reading. lol. https://tropical.colostate.edu/forecasting.html

  7. Bob G says:

“Climate event coming”. I’ve read the story four times and I still can’t tell what that event’s going to be. more Vudu or maybe tarot cards??? https://nypost.com/2026/04/09/us-news/el-nino-odds-spike-to-61-as-scientists-warn-of-possible-very-strong-climate-event/

    • arn says:

As climate can be defined as sum of all weather or its mean(very mean in AGW terms)
anything can be called “climate event”.

In this specific case the underlying science is most likely that the current Bilderberg meeting , that used to be frequented by the “conservative” NYP owner,
has decided that the AGW narrative must be kept alive during the Trump years,
and in this case it’s poor little boy El Nino, not related to the Epstein class,
that may happen “earlier…worse … and twice as … than expected”.

So this years narrative is that any drought/storm/heatwave will be blamed on an unprecedented premature El Nino and a gulf stream collapse is imminent – and the jet stream will suffer too.
And if nothing happens until December? – go back to start/2027.

      • Bob G says:

Arn, I’m scared. is there a good place to hide from this coming climate event? Maybe Pleasantville? lol. I might want to try Martha’s vineyard but I heard they don’t take climate refugees.

        • arn says:

Pleasantville absolutely(still remember the very beautyfull girl in the beginning ) – the monochrome environment will successfully protect you from the massive overuse of red color that will come alongside
          those massive propaganda events.
All those initimidating graphics lose 95% of their psychological impact in black & white
and the only thing left to fear then is the hockey stick.

Martha Vineyard is a good option too , as Obama illegally built 2 huge gas tanks there, so you have real energy to run your AC ‘s 24/ 7 throughout the heatwave.
And it gets even better – as the Obamans have moved out, you’ll no longer run the risk of running into a naked Michelle and to drown in shallow water afterwards for seeing her Mancron.

But you are probably too late
          and here’s the kicker:
They sold the Bro… Blue Heroin Farm with a tiny 260% Profit
as part of the standard retroactive payment process of the Epstein class for their top political mules.
And the Epstein class in a literal way, as the buyer is Les Wexner – the Epstein before Epstein who had his NY Mansion fully loaded with Hidden cameras (to make UN members going along with Agendas),
before he gave his Mansion + a few hundred millions on top to a teacher and college drop out named
          Epstein.

It seems that once again a magic hidden hand forced Wexner to throw away a huge chunk of his money to a 3rd party with no obvious benefit for him in return (what will a 90 year old do with such a huge property in a cold, windy region – maybe he doesn’t even know that he bought it via Autopen)

  8. Bob G says:

Summers getting longer say some. since 1990 or since 1960 but of course that’s after I was born so apparently in my lifetime everything’s changed…it wasn’t that long ago that the human lifetime was geologically less than a blink of a blink of a blink of a blink of an eye… well …what happened before my lifetime? why don’t the records include the fifties, the 40s and the 30s? but let’s say it has gotten warmer. maybe that’s why crop yields have increased? isn’t that a good thing???? as for Summers getting hotter that’s just bunk. no record high temperatures set in north central United States in decades. https://studyfinds.com/summer-getting-longer/

  9. Bob G says:

Headline…. “Hawaii hasn’t seen this type of weather for a thousand years”. https://www.bfro.net/GDB/show_report.asp?id=8165. not true! I recall seeing news 11, Hawaii’s News leader…. weather reporting in the year 1421 which clearly reported the same type of weather. jk. too funny! in other news I heard the snow pack is way down in the Southwest…. but let’s note …after several years of heavy snowfall. latest forecast is for 60 inches of snow in the Sierra Nevada. in other words …back to average.

  10. Francis Barnett says:

A bit late to the party here but I’m paying the equivalent of $10.14 per us gallon for diesel here in France.
Unbelievable, yes I’ve checked the conversions from euros to dollars and litres to usg and it’s correct.
Since Donald’s little Iran project the fuel price in Europe has gone stupid.
Farmers and fishermen are devastated, even though they are using non-road lower taxed fuel.
We are only using one small diesel car now, our Honda Accord 180 hp diesel tourer is too thirsty for $10 diesel.
I can stretch the fuel usage out to 45 miles per usg in the small car.

    • Jack the Insider says:

It’s not the Don you have to blame but your friends across the Channel who have caused all the destabilisation of the Middle East for last 70 years that has lined the pockets of the Banksters and the Insurers of London. It’s about time we all suffered a little pain to destroy this Imperial network. The skies will be much clearer at the end if we hold the course.

  11. Francis Barnett says:

A bit of one sided argument Jack.

“To say that the relationship between the governments of the United States and Iran has been volatile over the last 80 years is to master the art of understatement.

The U.S. installed and propped up a highly unpopular leader, endured the trauma of having citizens held hostage by the government that ousted him, surreptitiously sold arms to that same government less than a decade later, and branded Iran as part of an “axis of evil” before trying to solidify a global deal for nuclear restriction. Then, in 2026, Pres. Donald Trump ordered attacks on Iran that killed its supreme leader, Ali Khamenei”

    https://www.britannica.com/topic/US-Iran-Relations-A-Timeline

I’m not criticising The Don for recent US aggression on the basis of Iran must never be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon – it needed doing, but how it’s being done is another story.

    • Jack the Insider says:

My read is that for years the US has been played by the Poms. Used as the muscle for their diplomacy if that’s what you call interference in other sovereign countries.
