Again I ask.. HOW is it possible for USHCN to match USCRN so precisely unless one or both is “juggled” to create that match. ( they are totally different networks aren’t they?)
If you run the linear trend numbers on USCRN, the USA is COOLING at 0.43F per decade.
In fact, it looks like the USA is cooling.

The problem I have is that USHCN is showing a slight COOLING trend since 2005.
Is the data that I have shown above different from the data Steven uses for USHCN?
Is the USHCN data used for the GISS global calculation the same as shown above?
Sorry, I’m just trying to get my head around this.
USHCN is nearly a dead match for the new USCRN since 2005 (which I find totally strange),
yet Steven says that a lot of very recent USHCN data is made up ?

If the data fed into the global temperature calculation from the US is different from the USHCN (which shows a slight cooling trend), that would be a serious pointer to major phraud !!!

Serious question: Are the datasets available to reconstruct the charts from 1981, 1999, and 2014? Although the animated gif is nice, it would be nicer to present the actual data and modern charts.
They try to hide it, but I have found the 1999 data and digitized the 1981 data.

If the surface is warming the troposphere has to be warming. If the troposphere is not warming the surface can’t be.
All surface warming is an artifact of the Urban Heat Island effect
Their answer is, “the heat is going into the oceans” so I will reiterate by previous statement.
1. If the surface and oceans are warming, the troposphere has to be warming.
2. If the troposphere is not warming, the surface and oceans can’t be.
Obvious statement. If it does not fit into Michael Mann’s belief system; then he’s not going to believe it. No matter how solid the evidence, his belief system is just too solidly formed to change.
Breaking news; i don’t believe in Micheal Mann! I don’t believe he has ever created anything worth anything or at least I’ve never seen anything that he has. I don’t believe he has spent very much time living in the wild on the face of this earth who’s climate he claims to understand. In fact I don’t believe that over weight, pasty faced, ivory tower, city slicker could make it for a week in the Green or White mountains living out of a rucksack and moving even 10 K a day right now. Lava soap. There is nothing that says a man is a working man than finding a bar of lava soap next to his sink. It cleans the un-cleanable off ones hands. It even does a good job of getting RTV silicone off ones hands. How come I always feel I need to use it when ever I read or write something about Micheal Mann?

Note that Gavin took over from Jimmy in mid 2013, if you go back a few more years on the graph, you can see that is almost exactly where the trend divergence from the satellite record started.
I heard the excuse that “satellite measurements measure the temperature from too high up” from Ari Jokimäki of Skeptical science like a month ago. They really are interconnected little buggers.
It was ridiculous then and it is ridiculous now to claim that it is more accurate to measure the temperature at the height of two meters at thousand km’s away, than to measure the temperature at location but a few hundred meters up.
The people at SkS are like ants. Individually they have a brain of an insect, but since there are many of them, they collectively form something that resembles intelligence. And since there are many of them, they can repeat these brainfarts everywhere. And they are fanatical enough to repeat them endlessly, right until they come up with the next excuse.
