Contrary to the flagrant lies of fraudsters like Heidi Cullen and Katherine Hayhoe, the frequency of hot days in the Midwest has plummeted. Days 95 degrees or above were three times as common one hundred years ago as they are now.
Heidi Cullen claims the exact opposite. She is making up lies which are the exact opposite of what the evidence shows.
Blistering Future Summers for 1,001 U.S. Cities | Climate Central
So there has only been one hot summer (2012) since the 1980’s and even 2012 was moderate compared to many other past summers.
There are millions of U.S. citizens who wish they had 85-degree summers, If it were any cooler grain production would probably fall off current record highs. Anyone calling 96 degrees anywhere in Texas in the summer as blistering hot is a liar and/or delusional. Three-digit highs in Houston were not abnormal in the 1950’s when I was growing up. Traveling through the state in summers since that time, I have often got out of the car in three-digit weather. Tony has already demonstrated that areas of Texas have been cooling over the decades.
