Skeptical About Skeptical Junk Science

Five years ago I pointed out that claims of ice loss at East Antarctica are idiotic. John Cook then ran a three part series attempting to twist logic and common sense into his usual mindless nonsense.

Part Three: Response to Goddard

NASA has now confirmed that I was correct.

Zwally’s team calculated that the mass gain from the thickening of East Antarctica remained steady from 1992 to 2008 at 200 billion tons per year

I’m sure we can expect a three-part correction from climate fraudster John Cook any minute now.

Reblogged this on Climatism and commented:
The most John Cook will ever be accused of for blatant climate deceit, is an excess of virtue.

Hell will freeze over before (taxpayer funded) climate catastrophists like Cook ever make retractions.

A heck Steven, you don’t need a retraction anyway. Mother nature will take care of the claims of such imbeciles in her own due time. But in the meantime keep up the good work.

I love how he was trying to explain losses via calving. As usual, he doesn’t think things through (as to how more calving comes about)

    Note this also from today:

Unprecedented Growth Of Arctic Ice Continues:

    https://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2015/11/01/unprecedented-growth-of-arctic-ice-continues/

    An excerpt:

    [see great graphic at link]

NASA and NOAA criminals claim that this is the hottest year ever, but they are lying. Arctic amplification is the most fundamental tenet of global warming theory, and we are seeing the exact opposite. Satellites show that 2015 is 0.26°C cooler than 1998. [graphic]

The NASA hottest year ever claim was created by massively tampering with data. It is a complete fraud. [graphic]

The data tampering includes a scientifically untenable linear increase of 0.3°C between 1930 and 2002. There is no physical phenomenon which could account for this type of linear error. A smoking gun of fraud.

Arctic ice doesn’t lie, but NASA and NOAA climate scientists do.

    Goddard is great!

Fight the climate change garbage now before they try to saddle us with a draconian global emissions agreement at the Paris climate change conference in December.

  5. I’m sure we can expect a three-part correction …

That much is certain. This blog will also be flooded with mea culpa comments by alarmists. I’m worried WordPress doesn’t have the bandwidth to handle it.

The big lie manual has specific instructions about this. “Never apologize.” It’s right next to “never admit you were wrong”.

Most people are stupid, overworked and too busy to care, so the lie they hear most often is what they go with. That’s also in the instructions

Personally I would like to take them all up on Mt. Rainer for a little ski touring. Say a week long tour? Looking like it’s getting close to time for that kind of thing up there. http://www.skimountaineer.com/MtnWebCams/Rainier-MtnWebCams.html?size=med&telemetry=true
I often wonder how many of those alarmists have ever taken on winter in the raw. I mean living by your own means out of a rucksack for a week or more without any permanent shelter anywhere to go warm up in sub zero weather with several feet of snow on a ground. Traveling to an objective on skies or snowshoes. Building snow caves or trenches to sleep in. Finding water so you can save your precious stove fuel.

Warmists don’t realize that warming means life: “Costa Rica is home to more than 500,000 species, which represents nearly 4% of the total species estimated worldwide, making Costa Rica one of the 20 countries with the highest biodiversity in the world.” – wiki
