This Is What Climate Fraud Looks Like

On this date in 1911, there were 100 degree temperatures from California to New England. It was 105 degrees in Massachusetts, and thirty states were over 100 degrees. Six states were over 110 degrees. Every state except Rhode Island was over 90 degrees.

July 11th afternoon temperatures have declined in the US since the 19th century, and weather as hot as 1911 is incomprehensible now.

July 5th, 2012 was very hot – though much cooler than 1911.  Scientists were certain that the hot weather of 2012 was due to global warming.

This is certainly what I and many other climate scientists have been warning about

Yet the National Climate Assessment shows that the heatwave of 2012 was nowhere near as hot as many which occurred when CO2 was below 350 PPM.

Climate Independence Day

The US has had some some July 4ths, but none hotter than July 4, 1911. Thirty states were over 100 degrees, and all but one (Rhode Island) was over 90F.

This graph shows the maximum temperature in each state on July 4th, 1911.

These 12 states had their hottest July 4th on that day : Indiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. It was 104F at Boston, and dozens of people died in the heat.

There was also a 70 day long heatwave in Paris that summer which killed more than 40,000 people.  Compared to no reported heatwave related deaths in France this year.

Another very hot July 4 was in 1936. Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota had their hottest July 4ths on that date.

The heat was more intense in 1936 than 1911, with six states over 110F, and twenty-one states over 100F.

Alaska was hot on July 4th. 1936 – with Nome reaching 84 degrees.

Lots of people also blew themselves up with fireworks that day.

Nome has only exceeded that temperature only once, on August 1, 1977.

DENVER, Feb. 21, 1977  — A group of solar physicists and climatologists told a national science convention today that the bizarre weather of the last year might have been caused in part by abnormal activity on the surface of the sun.

the scientists said that all available evidence pointed to another year or two of cold winters in the Eastern and Central states and drought in the Western United States.

The five hottest July 4ths were 1911, 1936, 1937, 1934 and 1901 – all more than 80 years ago.

And it isn’t just on July 4th.  According to the National Climate Assessment, the intensity and duration of heatwaves has plummeted in the US.

Coolest/Wettest January-June On Record In The US

Sixty-nine percent of the US has averaged below normal temperature this year, with thirty-four percent more than two degrees below normal.

YearTDeptUS.png (688×531)

Seventy-nine percent of the US has been above normal precipitation , and seventy-three percent of the US has been more than 110% of normal precipitation. The exact opposite of claims by climate alarmists, wet weather is associated with cool air – not warm air.

YearPNormUS.png (688×531)

The average maximum daily temperature in the US has been coolest on record this year, more than seven degrees cooler than the record high year of 2012 – which had a lot of mild winter/spring days.

The percent of days over 80F is lowest on record by a wide margin, way down from the record year of 1934.

The number of hot days has plummeted since the 1930s. The last really hot year was 1988, when CO2 was below 350 PPM.

As a result of the cold, wet weather – lots of ski areas will be open on July 4th.

This comes five years since the New York Times announced the end of snow.

And thirteen years since they announced the endless summer.

And it has been almost nineteen years since The Independent and CRU announced that snow is a thing of the past.

So how did climate scientists and the press react to the record cold and their past failures? By ignoring it and announcing the hottest month ever.

June Was The Hottest Month Ever Recorded On Earth – LADbible

And they linked the record hot weather in Paris to climate change.

Paris was much hotter in June, 1947.

In 1911, 40,000 people died from a 70 day long heatwave – unlike five day long heatwave of 2019. Apparently that was not caused by climate change.

Europe has a long history of hot weather, which climate scientists and the press choose to ignore.

Climate scientists and the press lie constantly about the climate, because this is about taking control of public policy – just as Eisenhower warned.

The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present — and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite.
