Digging For Insects

Democrats (who recently nominated the second biggest liar in US history for president) are desperately digging to find anything they can call dishonest in Judge Kavanaugh’s past.

Warm Sea Surface Temperatures In Eastern Colorado

During this week five years ago, Boulder received 18 inches of rain.

The storm total in 2013 was comparable to what is forecast for North Carolina this week. NCAR Scientists here in Boulder say that much rain is an indication of man-made warm sea surface temperatures.

As of Tuesday evening, the National Hurricane Center was warning of 15 to 25 inches of rain in areas affected by Florence

Boulder scientists cite warmer ocean as Florence menaces Carolinas – Boulder Daily Camera

I do a lot of aerial photography here, and haven’t seen any indication of nearby oceans. In fact we are about 950 miles from the Gulf of Mexico. I ride my bicycle up to NCAR almost every day, and haven’t seen any warm sea surface temperatures up there either.

Colorado must have been closer to the ocean in 1935, when man-made warm sea surface temperatures caused 24 inches of rain to fall in six hours.

Boulder doesn’t have an ocean, but there are lots of drugs here  -which may be impacting the intellectual health of climate scientists.

Nikon P-1000 Pix

The P-1000 is much larger and heavier than the P-900.  The viewfinder is much clearer, the automatic focus is better and faster, and it has a manual focus ring which I depend on a lot. It also can store images as raw, but I don’t have any software which understands Nikon raw image format. So far, so good.

Washington Post – Donald Complicit With Florence

The Washington Post says Florence will be the first category 4 hurricane to hit the Carolinas, and it is President Trump’s fault.  They also say there is no reasonable doubt (evil) humans are priming the Earth for disasters.

If Trump cares about Hurricane Florence, his policies don’t show it – The Washington Post

As is almost always the case, the fake news Washington Post is simply making up fake facts.  The east coast was hit by three major hurricanes in 1954, including the last two to hit New England (Carol and Edna.) The third major hurricane of 1954 (Hazel) was a category 4, which made landfall at the North/South Carolina border, and then wreaked havoc all the way up into Canada where it killed more than 100 people.  Hazel was Canada’s deadliest hurricane.

16 Oct 1954, 3 – The Boston Globe at Newspapers.com

According to Roger Pielke Jr., east coast major hurricanes are down more than 60% over the past 50 years.

The US is just coming off the longest hurricane drought on record.

Hurricane Drought Hits a New Record – Scientific American

If the Washington Post wants to blame presidents for hurricanes, then the top three perpetrators are Grover Cleveland, Rutherford B. Hayes and William Howard Taft.

HURDAT Re-analysis Chronological List of All Hurricanes

There is no factual basis to anything the Washington Post said, but why should this article be any different from anything else they publish? The mainstream media censors dissent, refuses to debate, and relies on anonymous sources. By following these policies, they never have to face any scrutiny for their fraud, lies and incompetence.

Democracy Dies In Stupidity And Superstition

The Washington Post and climate scientists forecasting Category 6 hurricanes. They say the rapid intensification of Florence is evidence of this.

Category 6? Climate change may cause more hurricanes to rapidly intensify. – The Washington Post

This is the exact same forecast which climate scientists made in December, 1988, the year NASA’s James Hansen officially launched the global warming scam before Congress.

Ellensburg Daily Record – Google News Archive Search

Had the scientists in 1988 actually done any research, they would have known that Hurricane Gilbert (which was hitting the Yucatan thirty years ago today) had 220 MPH wind gusts. Meteorologists were “caught off guard” by how rapidly the storm intensified in only one day to 175 MPH winds.

By contrast, Florence is forecast to stall and wind speeds slow down considerably before making landfall.

Weather Street: Tropical Storm Florence, Hurricane Florence 2018

The US hasn’t been hit by a category five hurricane since Andrew in 1992, yet climate scientists are forecasting category six. The most intense US hurricane occurred in 1935, and the deadliest US hurricane occurred in 1900. The deadliest Atlantic hurricane occurred during the Revolutionary War in 1780, when George Washington was fighting for Democracy.  Now the paper named after him is fighting to kill democracy – with their superstition, censorship and non-stop barrage of propaganda and lies.
