Having a tropical storm 500 miles away could have been really dangerous.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Schools are closed today too for some reason. I grew up in Florida and we never had what they now call “storm days.”
Republicans need to have a big-name comedian start the show with 5 minutes of self-deprecating jokes about all the storm hysteria that even they bought into.
It might have slightly ruffled Mit Romneys hair. Who was that candidate who spent about 30 minutes doing his hair before a television appearance? I can imagine being the President is quite a tough job hours wise, you don’t want someone always in the bathroom with a can of Harmony hair spray.
That’s the good think about Obama, with that hair very little time spent even coming it. Of course a bald president would be the ideal. Zero time on follicle straighening.
Andy
Like I said, Republicans are wussies. Did Boehner cry why he saw the news of the storm?
Republicans must be like Hollywood, masculinity phobic.
They probably need all the police within a 500 mile radius:

Who wants to have a repeat of the Bush/Katrina fiasco? I can see it on the news — “New Orleans Drowns While GOP Whoops it up in Tampa.”
You can bet that if Isaac does hit New Orleans, it will be Bush’s fault.
Already is:

They should have listened to Joe Bastardi from WeatherBell. It’s going exactly where he said it would, on Friday.
BTW: Biden also canceled his plans to travel to Tampa, too. What are the late night talk shows going to run for comic relief?
They wouldn’t let Ron Paul talk anyway, so fuck’em.

It’s the crudly ungrammatical “totally” that really makes me laugh, though.
