@Steve: Agreed, but, I’ll wager those hijackers never would have gotten aboard an El-Al jet. I flew El-Al in 1998 and they do it right (i.e. they profile, in spite of it being politically incorrect to do so). We were interviewed in the check-in line by highly trained people who watched our every move, twitch, etc. If so much as one hair stood up on the back of their necks, there was no way you were getting on that plane.
That’s a sure way to stop airline hijackings…let those with concealed carry permits to take them on the plane.
