According to Scientific American, The EPA, and NASA – global warming is destroying Alaska. Alaskans would feel much happier and more fulfilled if they did not use fossil fuels – or at least paid a lot more for them.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

If they shut off the central heating or switched to solar for energy they would not feel the pain in less than 24 hours!
I wonder how many words the Eskimos have for BS?
They could use windmills to pump water up to a dam for hydroelectric.
Just a minor problem with that negative sign in front of the temperature reading.
How about heating using solar panels under all those streetlights ?
Yeah, that should work great for a green grant liberal stimulus project.
Just believe hard enough. Yes we can.
Careful, the solar panel feedback could melt the streetlamps.
Build igloos and hunt for seal meat.
No, not seal meat as that’s reserved for the P Bears. Maybe they can import some granola or something. Living close to nature without power is what the Gaia wants. They should start doing that today.
Maybe this is why Alaska is melting 😉

So, they won’t pay the normal price to melt the world, but they would pay extra to do it. That about sums up the Gaia mentality!
I can see that the missing ice cube in August has made Barrow a tropical paradise. All you need are palm trees and dancing bikini clad girls.
