We’re experiencing species loss at the highest rate in 63 million years.If temperatures rise 6C, the human population will decline to two billion and we will also lose most species, including trees.At an 8C rise, humans go down to a few million and must retreat to Antarctica. It is possible for humans to continue living underground if the planet gets too hot, but there isn’t very good phone reception down there. –
Complete buffoon. A pity we can’t convince them all to go and live somewhere inaccessible and disconnected from any form of communication.

I have this thought myself from time to time. When I do, I remind myself of seeing Bill Cosby on TV about 39 years ago, doing a strangely quiet (no background laughter) comedy routine — It consisted of him in closeup, with only his face on screen, with his skin painted green and a bright red bulbous nose fitted on. In other words, an obvious clown. And he was talking about some nameless “them”, with unspecified beliefs his clown found obnoxious, and saying something like, “I think we should just put them all off on an island, far away, all by themselves…” (so we clowns wouldn’t have to put up with them, was the point). When I remember that, I sigh and think, “twas ever thus” (or some more earthy utterance, expressing frustration).
The person who wrote that must have thought the movie “Water World” was a documentary. People like that shouldn’t be allowed sharp objects or keyboards.
Another classic chicken little. And no disrespect meant to chickens.

Let’s see, now it’s 24 years later, and the sea level is just the same. Add to this innumerable other sensational but failed predictions of doom by the fear-mongers. Every single prediction of doom going back over 4 decades has not happened. EVERY one. There are no exceptions. None! Why like a broken record do they keep doing it, keep spewing the glaring bullshit? In their own words:

Once you exaggerate and lie, your credibility is zero and nothing you say from that point on is believable. Especially when you have an agenda and stand to profit from that agenda. Apparently these alarmists, despite their PhD’s, are too stupid to recognize this very fundamental fact.
Exactly right, except most people don’t know about their endless failed predictions and lies. The people need to know. This will get serious, as before long the tide will turn against us (and climate change legislation will pass), as organizations like the WWF are now running mega-ads trumpeting climate change (as the one now falsely talking about the PBear’s vanishing habitat). These media campaigns have a major impact, and we don’t have a counterpart organization running ads presenting our point of view. We need that. That is essential.
I can hardly wait to read what Tim Blair and Andrew Bolt have to say about Alice and her Wonderland predictions. Stay tuned.
Hold on. If one was neurotic enough as to actually believe the overarching AGW yarn wouldn’t AGW and its corresponding attrition of world population be self-mitigating? Eventually along the continuum of CO2 caused warming and the annihilation of mankind shouldn’t we reach some kind of equilibrium well before world population has declined into the millions?
That would be the logical way to think about a possible “Problem”!

Soooo, they’re already displacing all the water they’re going to displace. If some portion of an ice shelf detaches, I wouldn’t expect sea level to rise one millimeter.
