Leading climate experts have been telling us for years that snow coverage is declining due to global warming. This can be seen in the graph below, with 2012 finishing the year at a record 900,000 Manhattans of snow in the Northern Hemisphere.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

ya…but just wait…we will have ONE year below normal…and this will be the new norm….(shaking head again…)
Steve, Your linking to the wrong data, it looks like 1972 was higher.

“Satellite Era”
Ahh, thanks for clearing the up!
According to the table you have linked:
Northern Hemisphere snow extent – Week 52
2012 50.51 million square km
1972 43.03 million square km
Have I read the table incorrectly or have you?
BTW – its ‘you’re’ not ‘your’ 🙂
Yes, I was reading the wrong table, Steve cleared that up for me. 🙂
I know, I spotted that typo too, I spot my typos after I post most of the time, word press doesn’t have an edit feature 🙁
I think Steve edits my comments to add typo’s /jk
Ok, alarmists all together now: “but, but, but.. the spring snow.. the spring snoooooooow!!”
