In 1923 scientists said that Glacier National Park would be ice-free by 1950.

If the scientists actually knew anything about maple trees, they would know that warm winters are good, and cold winters like last year are bad.

As far as corals go, anyone with an IQ over 30 should be able to figure out that expanding tropics would cause the range of corals to expand, just as it always has for the past 600 million years. But government climate scientists don’t seem to fit into the over 30 IQ category.
The “Climate Change juggernaut is testimony to the power of propaganda. One would think that selling the notion that warmer weather equates to a disaster would be a difficult endeavor. Maybe it is, but the difficulties have been overcome spectacular fashion.

The real danger to coral reefs, as far as I know, is over fishing, which kills the fish who keep corals clean. Leads to a lot of coral death.

I think a wonderful experiment, which I would do if I had the means, would be to have two green houses, one for a test plot of various crops and a control with with the same crops.
The control would have the current concentration of CO2 which is about 400ppm
The test plot would have the CO2 concentration at about 280ppm, which is what the concentration was believed to be before the usage of fossil fuels.
Really, It would be a simple experiment in concept, but a very important and readily reproducible one.
I would love to see the headline, CO2 an Elixir of Life, to borrow a phrase from Roy Spencer.
I think that could be a very effective demonstration but I wonder if it’s actually doable. Does the instrumentation exist that could control the CO2 levels within such narrow tolerances? I know we have systems for close environments like space ships or submarines but I don’t think that for the humans aboard we worry about a tiny swing of 120 ppmv.
Many such experiments have been performed, though not as many as the reverse (adding CO2 in “free air carbon enrichment” experiments).
Use Google Scholar with the phrase “carbon dioxide deprivation” or similar search terms. The reduced growth is well known, though not talked about much these days as it is politically incorrect to admit that the current higher CO2 is beneficial.
Growth stops for just about all plants at levels not much lower than it gets during glaciation phases. We run the risk each time of extinguishing all life, for if plants die nothing lives. I wonder to what extent the plant die-off helps the reduction of glaciers. The timeframe seems too long for that, as it’s many tens of thousands of years.

I used to perform this same experiment, the first time was in 1978 with soybeans. No matter the crop, the results were always the same, the plant that got more CO2 grew faster and used less water.
Imagine what our forests would look like if plants were able to reach their full potential, instead of the pitiful specimens we see today.

There are many places around the world where dead coral in higher latitudes shows how the world is cooler now than it was then. Many cities have been built with the cement made from this dead coral but there is still plenty left.
Coral simply migrates with varying sea temps.

When I lived in Boulder I worked for Access to Energy. The owner, Petr Beckmann, watch Germans invade his native Czechoslovakia. Some 5 years later he worked with physicist Arthur C. Clarke on the British radar landing system for returning bomber planes. The antinuclear Daily Camera never mentioned a word about the Health Hazards of NOT Going Nuclear.
Though unrelated specifically to this post, the doom and gloom about California and Texas droughts should also be mentioned with Lake Shasta in California (the largest state reservoir and used for regional agriculture) 100 percent full with recent storm, and several other reservoirs also filling up. Lake Tahoe received another 6 billion gallons of water in just two days and rose 2 inches. And Lake Travis, a 65 mile long reservoir in Texas, is now nearly 100 percent full, first time in 6 years.
