Very understandeable , take a good look at the map you are showing . The whole Arctic or at least what is visible of it on your map is signified with a red coloration . What does this mean to a prejudiced innocuous progressive brainwashed leftist liberal ? It must be hot over there ! In their simple mind blue stands for cold and red for heat . Ever seen a frying pan with a blueish coloration ? If you are arriving at a different , more mature , conclusion you must be a racist , well the rest of the rants is easy to guess………

    • AndyG55 says:

No.. its purple !!! That’s what colour you turn up there.

Purple then blue from the cold.

If its so “warm” up there, why is the Arctic sea ice within an almost immeasurable 25,000km² of the previous short term low. !

“conclusion you must be a racist ”

or a homophode… or goodness know what other evil .

Just wait until next week! Bitter cold in the US from coast to coast and border to border (except for parts of Florida). California should have a damaging freeze with possible rare snowfalls down to sea level. We will no doubt hear the usual drivel about how cold is consistent with global warming and in fact is caused by global warming.

Can’t wait for Trump to pull the plug on the entire scam.

I can’t look at it. These progressive super-hot colors give me the heebeedie–jeebies …

  4. leon tesla says:

Sadly, this map includes very little of what is defined as the arctic. It does not show the arctic circle, the 10-degree Celsius line or the tree line, all of which are north of the area shown on this map.

Exactly how does this map in any way disprove anomalous arctic warming?

  5. oldbrew says:

Whoever thinks any part of the Arctic is ‘super-hot’ should try going there in lightweight clothing for a few days.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

You are just too hard, oldbrew. No need for lightweight clothing.

I say griff should get dropped off for a day in her best winter clothes with nice mittens and a knitted hat. It’s clear she’s a little confused what super-hot means.
