About the only place in Canada with a sea level rise near the global average is Halifax at a piddly 3.12 mm per year. Meanwhile, look at Churchill, Manitoba (where the land is still rebounding from the last ice age) which has a negative sea level trend of 9.48 mm.

That 1988 prediction came to nearly 15 mm/yr for the next 62 years. That was nearly 30 years ago and there’s been no increase in the rate. How ’bout that?

Yeah Tony, sea level rise is the biggest scare the Climate Mafia has and it really does need to be pointed out repeatedly that it’s a paper tiger. It’s not happening, there’s no evidence in the empirical records that would lead any rational person to conclude that there is. That needs to be hammered home regularly.

  3. Gator69 says:

Sea level rise rate increase is hiding at the bottom of the oceans, with Trenberth’s missing heat. Someday it will rise like Godzilla and smite us all. It’s basic physics and settled (political) science.

  4. John F. Hultquist says:

Just 33 years to get there.
Are the people that wrote this stuff still alive?
    Probably retired.
Still, those alive should be asked to comment on their predicted 8 & 3.

I used to work for them….(late 70’s/early 80’s)….they were good back then, but obviously the wrong people got into power…and drank the cool-aid.
