Don’t Pour Salt On Climate Scientists!

Pouring salt on slugs can be fatal. The difference being that slugs actually have functional brains.

    There is a WUWT article with a detailed station survey at Mohonk Lake. It provides a lot of information about why it is poorly sited and may be a Class 4 site (CRN1 is best, CRN4 is poor):

    This journal paper about it concludes it is a good site, and any site changes do not coincide with the temperature changes, and that “These findings deviate
    from some regional level trends, suggesting there may be value in revisiting selected, consistently monitored, and maintained stations similar to Mohonk ”
