No Trend In Arctic Sea Ice For 12 Years

According to climate experts and the fake news press, the Arctic is record hot, and is rapidly melting.

Actual data shows that their claims are fraudulent. There has been no trend in Arctic sea ice extent since the start of MASIE records in 2006. The graph below shows the trend line in red from the 2006 peak to the 2018 peak.

Sea ice volume is nearly identical to ten years ago (23,000 km³) and thick ice covers much more of the Arctic than it did ten years ago.

Temperatures in the Arctic are very cold, and the cold Arctic air is spilling down into the Eastern US, where we are having a record cold start to spring.

As far as I can tell, every claim made by climate alarmists is completely fraudulent.

The Wikipedia page for the North Pole is still showing a graphic of a minimum sea ice extent in 2007. Was that the alarm limit?

It dropped below freezing yesterday afternoon here in southern New Hampshire (Thursday) and we likely won’t get above freezing until next Tuesday. Then a snowstorm rolls in next Wednesday. Is this January? The first day of Spring is next week!

Usually when we have a cold spell it warms in the arctic because their cold air has moved south. This time it remains cold up there. Hmm. I find that a bit disconcerting. Looks like a late spring to me.

Not that it hasn’t happened before. But it is downright comical how the media ignores the parts of the planet that are shivering, and searches far and wide for the parts that are above normal.

I’m glad the president introduced the concept of “Fake News” into the public’s General vocabulary. Now people have words for the media balderdash they were inariticulate about before.

What this site does so well is to show that Fake News is more than selectively reporting on warm places while ignoring the cold. It involves the so-called adjustment of data. Although Steve Macintyre exposed this back in 2007 it has never been addressed. I have always felt it involves falsifying public documents, and is criminal. I really like it that you use the word “Fraud”, for that is what it is.

John Daly, LOL. Are you referring to the most ignorant opinion piece about satellite altimetry ever seen on the internets? Is this really the pinnacle of denialist “science”? I hope not.

ad hom of someone so far above your intellect , as to make you look like a single cell amoeba..

You lack science of ANY sort, terak.

          You are a worthless non-entity.

Russian ice charts concur with the massive increase in “old ice’ since 2008.

  4. AndyG55 says:

NSIDC shows Arctic sea ice above that of 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2006.

This is DESPITE the HUGE amounts of cold air that have been channelled down over parts of the NH.

Since records began in 1979 should be: Since we started at the high point in 1979.

My old working station (Eureka) is sitting at -43C right now….red hot! Already seeing almost 24 hours of daylight, but sun angle still shallow. Eureka is at 80 degrees north.
