Arizona, those massive number of early, absentee ballots just keep coming in.

I have (at out University) stated that early voting appears on the face of it wrong. I know it is claimed to make voting easier but at one time Civics was taught and we knew when elections were, we have laws to allow you to vote. It is in my mind a convenience that allows for too much flexibility and too little commitment to voting. It reduces the social responsibility.

And now, again, these early vote counting totalling is causing another headache. 7am to 7pm should be enough. You want absentee ballot? Then it has to be postmarked in another district. I know it sounds harsh, but….structure is part of life.

Is it true that votes in Broward County were being counted without observers?

Early ballots (my permanent preference) aren’t the problem; matching up the ballots with actual live voters is. If we know how many constituents in a district there are, their addresses, telephone numbers, age, and party affiliation, it shouldn’t be a problem with Big Data to crunch the numbers and assign ID’s to each ballot and voter. Those that don’t match, eliminate.

Of course, it almost sounds too easy. I’m sure someone will corrupt the process.

Bingo! That’s why Democrats are so adamantly against voter ID.

We should require voters to have an iris scan when they register to vote, and then use iris recognition at the polling booth to verify their identity.

        Problem solved.

When you want to give free cake for all but do not own the cake,
    then democracy is an obstacle.
Especially when you have no cake at all to offer but just crumbs.

By the way the Russians always were better counters than voters !
Whose principle : If you cannot outvote your opponent , you can always outcount him.In an official fight the opponent can only be outcounted if he is laying groggy on the floor .Could this be the case for the republicans ?
