Amazing how many times NOAA attempt to correct people when they link heatwaves to CAGW. Oh, wait…

  2. Louis Hooffstetter says:

Once again, you’re over the target…

  3. Jimmy Haigh says:

He probably thinks that “dew point” is a racial slur.

  4. Jimmy Haigh says:

I saw that cartoon earlier and thought: “They can not be serious!” It just screams total ignorance.

  5. Darryl Tiggeman says:

This cartoon on You Tube is bizarre, when the teacher told the class to think for themselves during the indoctrination process I just lost it.

  6. feathers says:

This frustrates me to no end. Where are Trumps people at NOAA? Think if the Obama Admin. was following Trump – they would have replaced everyone and dialed in the messaging machine. At a minimum they should be neutral on the issue.

And the “more” moisture is just so dishonest I don’t know where to start!

  7. arn says:

Wait- the steamy AGW CO2 teapot is supposed to produce more snow
while it also turned snow into a thing from the past?
And at the same time killing polar bears as result of lack of snow and ice(while the polar bear population is increasing)

Considering the huge (official) melt and loss of snow and ice around the world
one may wonder where all this loss comes from when there is an infinite supply of steam to cause snow.
According to the guardian Antarctica is melting from below as result of hot oceans-how can antarctica lose so much land-ice year after year when it gets bombarded with steamy snow all the time as result of boiling oceans.?

Another problem of boiling tea pot oceans is that the average depth of oceans are about 1500 meters.
As they are said to have absorbed most of global warmings heat
there should have been a significant increase in Volume(=sea level rise) as result of more heat inside the system.
Now combine all the melt with volume increase and you’ll get manhattan and maledives under water;this is not happening.

But maybe the cult will blame some day the co2 inside the water for global warming(i hope they won’t forget to quote me then as inventor of this stupidity :)

    more steam=more snow
    but also=more rain.
More rain and snow = less drought.
How can AGW produce more rain and snow AND more droughts?
(and more extreme weather while reducing the number of hurricanes to such lows that whenever one of those rare of-the-mill hurricanes the MSN celebrates the apocalyptic hell out of it)
NOAA and Mr Shaub need to explain this flat earth logic.

  8. Mac says:

Funny. See, I and people I know always call the climate change cultists “Flat Earthers”. In olden times, people who thought the Earth was flat were hysterical religious fanatic imbeciles who knew nothing at all about science. Climate changers fit that definition perfectly.

I wish the duplicitous and corrupt neo-leftists would be honest for once and just admit the truth, like the dude from the UN-IPCC blurted out a few years ago. The entire climate change scam is nothing more than a vehicle for redistribution of global wealth.

    • arn says:

It is far more(besides cultural marxism&reeducation)
it is about deindustrialisation of the west.
Combined with the impacts of being flooded with islam
the end of civilisation in those regions is not that far away.

      First it’ll become like brazil
      then 3rd world.

      • R Shearer says:

For example, state legislatures are making an end around on the electoral college process. They are pushing for states to assign their electoral votes based on national popular vote. If they succeed, the socialists will gain more control very quickly. Venezuela, here we come?

  9. EternalOptimist says:

Poor old ‘Travesty Trenberth’ had trouble finding the missing heat, at least the missing cold has turned up.

  10. nejking says:

The tweet was in response to Trump joking about global warming the day before. The whole crew at NOAA are insubordinate clods because the media is on speed dial and will cover their backs. And secretary Ross appears clueless what’s going on in agencies he oversees.

  11. Tom Bakert says:

NOAA should be publishing water vapor/air data, not stupid graphics. Unless, of course, the data do not support their “Steaming Teapot” rationale.

  12. Texas sharp-shooter. says:

Plus side: in Burmuda you just so to the cold water tap for your “nice cuppa.” ‘Course, “Charleston hard hit by climate refugees from Burmuda.” Wait, wut, counter-intuitively, all the climate refugees here are from the North.

  13. Mac says:

Also, one of the things I love about the dishonest climate change hysteria, is the manipulative terms and language that is employed in order to scare people. It’s all so obvious. Most people know nothing whatsoever about science, and they scare easily, so the climate change people have invented new ways of describing the weather. My favorite is “polar vortex”, which is used again and again lately, every time the temperatures drop in winter. A couple of decades ago, it was simply called a “cold snap.” I never even heard the term “polar vortex” before 2010 or so. It sounds like something bad that happens in an Arnold Scwarzenegger movie after they activate the oxygen generators on Mars.

Another favorite is “Superstorm”. I mean, for crying out loud, we actually NAME snowstorms now which only drop a few inches. It’s so infantile and silly.

    • Gator says:

“Extreme weather” is one of my pet peeves. More like extreme hyperbole.

    • AndyDC says:

After their month paid vacation, the Government in DC closed 2 hours early yesterday due to a quarter inch of snow! I kid you not, a freaking quarter inch of snow that fell in above freezing temperatures and never stuck on the roads. Massive traffic jams at 2 PM. If this is not a country of total pathetic wusses, I don’t what else would better demonstrate that fact!

      • Johansen says:

I think most of America is totally fed up with Government, Incorporated. There isn’t a private company out there that will furlough you due to a slowdown, and then hire you back with full back-pay. And millions of people work on a “project basis” anyway, where you expect to have periods of unemployment.

  14. Frank K. says:

Ummm … so Obama had an ethics director??

  15. Jeff L. says:

Glad your Twitter account got restored Tony.

  16. tom0mason says:

It might just be weather, but the weather and climate models are linked …

  17. Rah says:

Up at the Romulus terminal sitting and waiting for others to do their jobs so I can do mine. – 15 F. Both female snow flakes who work the dispatch desk here called off so their immediate supervisor filling in.

  18. Rah says:

Truck idling and despite the heat from the engine and UHI effect from the Detroit area the thermometer shows -17 F at 21:15 here in Romulus, MI.

  19. Bariboule says:

There aer better answer to his attack. Scott Adams is an absolute beast at this BTW.
Three classics one liner that IMO work the best

    “You left out the reason”

    “Sarcasm isn’t part of thinking”

“I thought you were part of the adult conversation”

One of the strongest rule in public debate is to sound like the adult in the room. You win 100% if you reach that point.
