I’m sure Barry and Michael will love it there.

      I miss the Obamas.
All the countries they destroyed-and still everyone kissed their butts.
All the big scandals he was involved in – and MSM gaslighted them all.
Giving automatic guns to mexican drug cartells while trying to take guns from his “own” people.
Getting the noble prize just for his skin color

It was so funny to have a first Lady with balls and a president without.

And these humble people saved every dollar they earned during the 8 years 5* to buy this house that will drown in 2 years as result of global warming.
But before this happens he will enougj time to built an 18 hole golf course
      on his tiny property.
(and the carbon footprint is almost inexistent)

I can see an ark being built on that google image :)

I guess his successful wife is buying it for him from the proceeds from her book.

Not a bad place to live!!

    Turkeyland Cove Rd..

    Seems relevant, somehow !!

Isn’t this putz saying everyone “small” should reduce their carbon footprint.

I expect to see a wind turbine on the estate really soon !………… as if !!!

  4. Gator says:

I thought he was from Chicago. Isn’t that where his library is? Not much of a reader I guess.

  5. Gamecock says:

Who knew being president paid so well?

  6. Scissor says:

One can’t have too many coastal estates to protect against sea level rise. They already have a beach front vacation home in Hawaii.

  7. Denis Rushworth says:

Google Earth places the house as 10 feet above sea level. That should be enough to give them a few years before going under, if the worst predictions are to be believed.

  8. Jeff says:

“I Do Think At A Certain Point You’ve Made Enough Money” – Barack Obama

Man, if these two don’t earn enough on the speaking circuit, they’ll soon be underwater – literally and figuratively.

Does anyone see any solar panels and windmills on that property?

“I Do Think At A Certain Point You’ve Made Enough Money” – Barack Obama

While I subscribe to this in my personal life (I have reached the point that I make enough and it’s fine), I would NEVER suggest that of someone else.

But more than that, notice how President Obama words that…”at some point YOU’VE made enough money”…not him…YOU. I will bet the mortgage that he’s wasn’t using the collective “you” that includes himself.

So typical of the socialist mindset…

        I also wonder
how a 15 mio dollar property fits into his
        “carbon foot print”
        “you didn’t built that”

One should think that a man with such honorable values would stop at 5 mio dollars, buy a house for 1 mio-
        and that”s it.

  9. GW Smith says:

No payback for selling the office here!

  10. Steven Fraser says:

According to the Topo map of the area, the 10′ line is uphill from them.

Between them and the open ocean is a sanddune, in most place under 10′, forming the southern end of the Edgartown Great Pond. Most of the time, this will prevent the waves and swells of tides and smaller storms from affecting the pond level. Watch for anything approaching the 10′ level, as it will likely flood over the sanddune, erode it, and open the pond shore to the higer water levels.

  11. paul courtney says:

Oh the irony. Obama preaches AGW but buys a house that says “I don’t believe in Greta.” Meanwhile Trump, who doesn’t preach AGW, wants US to buy Greenland, the value of which will rise like a post-adjustment NOAA chart IF AGW proves true (or if it warms naturally, a thought that never occurs to Obama and the like). You’d think the AGW warriors would want the US to own Greenland, if China gets it they’ll start building coal burning electric grid.

  12. John says:

Didn’t Obama say when he was in office that he stopped the seas from rising? Feel the crazy?

We’d Better Retreat from the Coasts While We Still Can, Scientists Urge Amid Climate Crisis

In a new policy paper, published today (Aug. 22) in the journal Science, a trio of environmental scientists argue that the only way to avoid the first scenario is to start planning now for the inevitable “retreat” from coastal cities.

You could not make this stuff up if you tried:

For instance, the authors want to build infrastructure that maintains the cultural heritage of marginalized communities that wind up having to leave ancestral homes.

“Retreat may exacerbate historic wrongs if it relocates or destroys historically marginalized communities,” the researchers wrote. “Conversations around who should pay for retreat will almost certainly need to address reasons why certain communities find themselves at risk.”

Indeed, the researchers wrote, retreat could be an opportunity to revitalize communities and redistribute wealth in a more sustainable way.

Where did the Obama’s get all that money? Barry was a community organizer, a senator and president. None of those jobs pay all that well. 400k for pres. How’s he going to pay for a 15 million dollar house?

    • Anon says:

His net worth is about 135 million now.

The Clinton’s were “broke” when they left the White House too, and are now in the same financial neighborhood as the Obamas.

      • Robertv says:

A good puppet is worth that kind of money. For the money changers of the temple he is still of use like the Clingons.
The moment you are of no need or become too dangerous you are suicided.

  15. Douglas Hoyt says:

I wonder if Obama will use a push lawnmower to mow his several acre sized lawn?

  16. Greg p says:

Obviously this website doesn’t attract people who understand science. Is this another haven for Koch Brothers to find more climate change denial? You people are really gonna be caught off guard when shit hits the fan. Wow I didn’t know there was so much ignorance in this country. Sad…

    • tonyheller says:

Thugs like Greg who don’t understand science are attracted to climate alarmism, and make accusations against people they know nothing about as a result. Climate Brownshirts.

  17. JJ says:

I’m guessing this is an anti-science site based on the comments.
