The polar vortex explains local cold weather. However, it is completely irrelevant to global temperature. Fundamentally, this is a post hoc argument, brought up to ‘explain’ an inconvenient observation. Had the cold weather been predicted BEFORE it was actually observed, I might be more impressed. As it is , it is a rubbish explanation by pseudo-scientists and charlatans.
Yeah, of course. This principle can easily be demonstrated by putting a pot of water on the stove and turning the burner dial to “High”. After a few minutes, you will notice that the water begins to turn into ice. The new understanding of physical law tells us that introducing heat into a system inevitably causes the temperature of the system to drop until everyone in the world believes this nonsense. At that point, it gets hot again.

I find it hard to believe that the mixture of gases, particularly a 2/10,000th variation of it, has ANY effect on velocity, curl, or any quantifiable aspect of a well controlled system, let alone our chaotic atmosphere. Such an extraordinary claim needs not extraordinary proof, it needs any proof, or at least a modicum of evidence, neither of which exists.
They have gotten away with zero proof for the past fifty years. Why start now?
