The retention of more sea ice in September 2013 has increased the overall thickness and volume of the ice pack compared to recent years. Antarctic sea ice remains significantly more extensive than average.
Arctic Sea Ice News and Analysis | Sea ice data updated daily with one-day lag
Over the past few years, winter winds have been transporting less ice out of the Arctic than has been forming, so the average age, thickness and volume of ice is increasing. If the recent wind patterns continue, then the amount of ice will continue to increase. It has nothing to do with CO2.
CO2 Causes Arctic Winds! 😉
“Global Warming” or “Climate Change” is a political agenda. It has nothing to do with actual climate or science.
The Causa Nostra says antarctic sea ice is caused by wind but deny that arctic sea ice has anything to do with wind. They are deniers.
The wind only blows where there is no CO2… according to the models! 🙂
The heat is not missing, it is just hiding in the collective brains of the Warmistas. The extra heat overloads their cognitive abilities which, in turn, allows them to lie, cheat, and steal for an imaginary greater good. My solution is to slap them silly, shock them into reality, so to speak. It’s just a working hypothesis at this point, but after a billion or so in marketing dollars ….
There has never been a problem with the climate caused by humans . It has always been the few looking for ways to control the many.
Slavery was never abolished only changed appearance.
We The People was a nice experiment but ‘ the few’ think it’s not longer economically necessary.
Also the Warmistas belong to the many. It is, was and always will be a game of Divide and Conquer
Great Lakes Ice coverage highest in 34 years according to Canadian Ice Service:

If the link does not work, go to the main page, Great Lakes and scroll down to Same week historical ice coverage bar graph.
Just wait until next week, when the dreaded Polar Vortex drops all the way to Michigan and freezes the Lakes even much more solidly.
There is another polar vortex coming?
According to NSIDC AO positive pushes arctic ice out to the atlantic by greenland and AO negative swirls the ice keeping in the high arctic.
From the mid 1980s the 1990s, the peak of ozone depletion, there were almost no sudden stratospheric warming events, AO stayed wicked positive.. Here is a graph of AO Jan/Feb/March back to 1950:

Look at the drop in 2008-09 and also in 2013, showing immediate response to solar radiations. I can see Pinatubo eruption too in 1991, etc.
Nothing to do with CO2!
What I said about Pinatubo is probably wrong because the average is relative to the 1st trimester of each year and Pinatubo’s eruption happened in June of 1991.
Looks like a very bad summer for Arctic alarmists.
