School Year Begins – No Student Has Seen Any Global Warming

The school year is beginning, and no student has experienced Al Gore’s inconvenient truth during their lifetime. But almost all have suffered through his sci-fi flick.

By the time the hiatus ends, many of them may be grandparents. Assuming the government still permits that.

Only if you subscribe to Islam.

Don’t forget the movie “The Day After Tomorrow”. Cable stations show it so much you would think it won an Oscar.

Steve, you’re work on NCDC data corruption has been validated at WUWT, but not by AW, see this post
    http://wattsupwiththat.com/2014/08/23/ushcn-monthly-temperature-adjustments/

The Australian BOM data shows exactly the same corruption as well and has now made the Ausie Press, see

So are you saying that no child can remember 2012? Or that global warming doesn’t exist? Or that weather has no relationship to climate? All of the above? None of the above?

    • 2012 – the year when Eastern Europe and much of Asia was buried under eight feet of snow. ROFLMAO

How slippery you are! Spend most of your time talking about the cooling in the US this summer but when I mention 2012 here in the US, shazam….we’re shifted to Europe and Asia. Mention Australia heat wave and abracadabra we’re back in the good ol’ USA.

Still would like to hear you answer my questions.

    • Tom In Indy says:

A single year, like 2012, is weather. No global warming since 1996 is climate. If you add up all the weather from 1996 to 2014, you get no global warming. You also discover that man-made CO2 cannot be driving the climate, because it’s effect was insufficient to increase the global surface temperature during that period.

Sorry you had to go, but I can’t say I’ll miss you.

The “trolls” serve a purpose in that everyone can learn about them. Typically they never have the facts right, or else do not know how to correctly process the facts to arrive at scientific conclusions. They also provide humor.

But, in their frustration, if they resort to insults or make false accusations , it is time for them to go.

I’ll bet ya that pesce-fetente is far from gone.

Heck, that might have been our old buddy “reggie” in drag. It certainly was about as bright as a box of wet matches.

    • Dmh says:

The only factor that increased temperatures in 2012 was the (very weak) relatively El Nino trend for ~ 6 months, between May and October.
The year started with a low average (worldwide) of -0.1 C, the lower since 2007-08 La NIna, and ended with +0.1- with a well defined La Nina episode at the beginning of the year and a La Nina trend at the end.
One must have a very strong imagination to see *any* warming trend in 2012.

what i don’t understand is why the lies from the vast majority of scientists; what is the motivation for the conspiracy, why would they all agree, what are they benefitting from by lying to the public — the science of global warming seems pretty straight forward, as in, not complicated, and in probably happening, as in generally obvious — yet, the idea that there is some sort of global conspiracy — i mean, why would anyone do that? conspiracies usually involve huge payoffs, as in billions pocketed by individuals — are the vast majority of scientists discussing global warming expecting a billion dollar payoff for their deception? these are serious questions, does anyone have an intelligent answer that involves common sense mixed with solid, publicly known facts?
