When Obama was elected, there was 66% concern about global warming. Now it is 64%. This is because Obama healed the planet in June of 2008. Some doubts in Obama’s powers remain though, because of the warm winter.
U.S. Concern About Global Warming at Eight-Year High
The spike this year is more likely due to the massive propaganda push rather than the warm winter. There has been no trend in winter temperatures in the US over the last century, and five of the last eight winters have been colder than the century average. Winter 2014-2015 was one of the coldest on record in the eastern US (with snow piles 70 feet high) and the winter of 2013-2014 was coldest since 1979 across the US. Those two winters brought record ice to the Great Lakes.
Two thirds of Americans blame human activity for rising temperatures.
Americans are completely correct about that. Data tampering by human NOAA and NASA employees is indeed responsible for rising temperatures.
Personal experience; we don’t have cold snaps of -10 -15 or even -20°F below anymore, but last year was colder longer, and summers are cooler. We just don’t seem to see high 90s anymore. I have great hopes for my tomatoes this summer considering the el Niño an’ all. I remember 1998 as a great tomato year.
Yes, last year Lake Michigan had a lot more ice than usual. Did it freeze over? Anyway, the prevailing thought is that because of the increased ice cover less water evaporated and that’s why lake levels have rebounded.
The more telling graph from that page…

So even if belief in man made warming is on another temporary rise, overall, the real trend is that people are becoming less and less concerned about it as time passes.
Oh my! Reading graphs without coffee first. They reversed the green lines on me.
I have to say that this polling is more than a little suspect. Every other poll I have seen shows the public at large is losing interest in CAGW, and that it ranks last in concerns overall.
I agree. I don’t believe this graph for a minute. Polling today is pure propaganda. Concern about nonsense is limited to those who believe in nonsense…. and that is likely less than 20% today.
Didn’t Obama promise to slow the rise in sea level.
But the government funded scientist now claim that the sea level rise is increasing.
The oceans are a great disappointment to President Obama. So are Americans, weather, economy, Congress, CIA, FBI, white people, Europe, Russia, China, North Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Israel, Egypt, Libya and everyone and everything else.
Well, Iran*) did alright by him but he sure expected better from us all. I’m really sorry we let him down.

*) Justice Scalia also came through for him
Obama promised a lot, I’m still waiting seven plus years later.
He also said his would be “The most transparent Administration in history.” Hahahaha
His administration has been so fair to people who do not agree with him, oh wait, the AG is contemplating charging climate change deniers. Total insanity.
January 20, 2017 can’t come soon enough.
Despite the mild winter, the DC area was paralyzed for nearly a week by one of the worst blizzards on record. We did have an extremely warm December, but January and February were almost exactly normal.
And it looks like there is a good chance your in for more of the white stuff next week.
