Dennis Rancourt is a PhD physicist, civil libertarian, and climate skeptic.  He has interviewed me about climate for the Ontario Civil Liberties Association. Dr. Rancourt has an excellent paper out explaining why masks don’t work, and how governments are operating a science vacuum.

The present paper about masks illustrates the degree to which governments, the mainstream media, and institutional propagandists can decide to operate in a science vacuum, or select only incomplete science that serves their interests. Such recklessness is also certainly the case with the current global lockdown of over 1 billion people, an unprecedented experiment in medical and political history.

I refuse to wear a mask, and make a point of smiling at everyone I see. I fled Boulder County to escape this nonsense, and now live in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

The New York Times doesn’t want you to work, leave your home, travel, or eat. They also don’t want you to hear accurate or sensible information on any topic.

Governor Cuomo of New York has done every imaginable thing wrong for the past two months, and has created the highest COVID death rate in the world in New York City. This has led to his approval rating skyrocketing.

She says that people who oppose her plans to destroy small business are anti-science.  I wonder what the science is that says it is OK for huge numbers of people to come to Walmart and touch the produce, but they can’t interact at small businesses and places of worship.

I also wonder what the science is that allowed me (and the dogs) to eat safely at Arizona restaurants this week, but it isn’t safe across the border in New Mexico to do much of anything.

The destruction of small business in New Mexico is not making anybody safe, and like almost everything else Democrats do, is not based on science or common sense.

Life is pretty much normal in Arizona, Utah and Wyoming where we have Republican governors, but blue Colorado and New Mexico are a mess. This was my birthday dinner last night in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

But if I cross the border twelve miles away into Colorado, somehow the “science” magically changes. This was my birthday card from a hard-core Fort Collins Democrat – who is on the verge of going bankrupt due to nonsensical business restrictions being enforced on her side of the border.

Blue state governors have been running up COVID death counts by sending sick people to nursing homes. Michigan Governor Whitmer has low risk groups locked down, while endangering the lives of people in high risk groups.
